We're hiring a Senior Associate to join the Business Development team. This team is responsible for sourcing, executing, and scaling critical partnerships across Coinbase's core products, business lines, and global ecosystem. You'll autonomously own a portfolio of high-impact partner relationships, lead complex deal execution from first conversation through launch, and work directly with product and business leaders to bring new partnerships to life as company priorities and market opportunities evolve.
What you'll do:
- Own and manage a portfolio of partnerships end-to-end, driving execution against commitments, resolving blockers, and ensuring partners deliver on agreed milestones and KPIs.
- Shape partnership strategy by identifying where new relationships can unlock growth, co-creating commercial frameworks alongside Product, Engineering, and Business leaders.
- Source, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, independently managing the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach through close.

Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in strategic, deal-oriented roles such as business development, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or strategy with demonstrated experience closing complex commercial agreements.
- Proven track record of independently identifying partnership opportunities, building commercial frameworks, evaluating deal economics, and driving initiatives from concept through close.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to assess partnership performance, model economics, and develop recommendations that influence senior decision-making.

About the team + role
Robinhood’s Customer Experience team plays a critical role in Democratizing Finance for All! We are expanding our core customer experience team adding new executive office and social representatives. These team members play a critical role in the customer experience supporting escalated and high visibility cases.
As a Customer Experience Escalations Specialist, you will investigate and resolve sensitive customer cases that require advanced problem-solving, sound judgment, and strong communication. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure timely resolution of complex issues while protecting the customer experience and the Robinhood brand.
Within this role, Social representatives focus on high-visibility customer cases surfaced through public platforms, helping ensure timely resolution and thoughtful engagement for issues impacting our brand in public forums. We partner closely with support, operations, compliance, and leadership teams to deliver thoughtful resolutions while upholding the highest standards of trust, accountability, and service excellence.
Schedule & Work Environment
This role is based in our Denver, CO or Westlake, TX office and requires 100% in-office attendance.
The team operates seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET. Employees will work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on business needs. Specific schedules will be determined after hire.

What you’ll do
- Resolve customer escalations across support channels
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues, including cases escalated by leadership, regulatory bodies, or high-profile customers.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and senior leadership to provide case summaries, risk assessments, and resolution outcomes.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify drivers of poor customer experiences and recommend improvements.
- De-escalate sensitive customer situations while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and empathy.
- Manage and resolve high-visibility customer cases originating from social media and public platforms, ensuring timely responses, thoughtful engagement, and coordinated resolutions that protect the customer experience and Robinhood’s brand.
What you bring

- 1-4 years of customer support or service experience in financial services
- FINRA Series 3 and 66 to obtain

About the role
We are hiring for a Complaints Specialist to help investigate and resolve our most complex and high-impact complaints on our Operations team. As our Complaints Specialist, you will own sensitive cases end-to-end, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and act as a go-to resource for others navigating nuanced issues.
You’ll spend time working directly on complex complaints while also helping improve how we operate—through quality initiatives, SOP updates, and audit support. This is a great role for someone who enjoys solving tough problems, influencing how work gets done, and raising the bar for both quality and member experience.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $61,000 and up to $85,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Own complex complaint investigations end-to-end, including cases from regulators, bank partners, and executive escalations
- Analyze case details, account history, and applicable policies to determine accurate, defensible outcomes
- Communicate outcomes clearly to members across multiple channels
- Act as an SME and escalation point for junior specialists, providing guidance on nuanced cases and best practices
- Execute well-scoped projects (e.g., SOP updates, UAT, audit support) with strong quality and attention to detail
- Support Quality Control efforts by identifying error trends and sharing actionable feedback
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes based on frontline insights
To thrive in this role, you have
- 3+ years of experience in customer support or operations in a regulated environment (fintech, banking, etc.)
- Proven ability to handle complex, escalated issues and apply policy and regulatory guidance effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including de-escalation and member-facing communication
- Sound judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity, edge cases, and escalation decisions
- Experience using data (QC trends, dashboards, case data) to inform decisions and improvements
- Ability to manage workload independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience supporting or mentoring others and contributing to team-wide quality improvements
