The International Accelerator Engineering team is growing, and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead it! We're a full-stack team located entirely in Europe within the same time zone, but culturally rooted in Silicon Valley. We directly improve the financial lives of over 20 million people shaping how Affirm builds Direct-to-Consumer products for Canada, the UK, and future international markets. We build and own various products used by our consumers, like the Affirm App and other Direct to Consumer products across international markets. We are here to make sure we reach and provide useful tools to our users so they can experience honest financial products at their fullest.
Our work is agile and fast-paced, shipping new code to production for millions to use across geographies and rigorously measuring the impact it has on them. This role rewards curiosity, ownership, ability to zoom in and out, switch contexts often, also in an open contribution model, and a builder's mindset. You'll be responsible for defining the path for reaching our customers worldwide as well as constantly iterating on growing the team and its members.

-
You will set a clear technical roadmap, translating international growth objectives into executable engineering plans and maintaining clarity on team priorities in a fast-paced, multi-geography environment.
-
You will hire, develop, and retain engineers at all levels; create meaningful career growth paths and hold a high bar for technical craft, reliability, and impact at scale.
-
You will drive cross-functional alignment with product, design, data science, and business partners across time zones, ensuring the team ships with speed and quality.
-
You will champion engineering excellence — establishing standards for system reliability, performance, and scalability on products serving millions of consumers globally.
-
You will foster a culture of ownership and curiosity, where a builder’s mindset, AI-assisted productivity, and rigorous measurement of impact are how the team operates every day.
What we look for
-
You have 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading and growing engineering teams in a product-focused environment.
-
You have a demonstrated track record of shipping and scaling consumer-facing products — ideally in a direct-to-consumer or fintech context.
-
You are experienced building high-performing distributed teams, with strong instincts for developing engineers and creating clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
-
You are a strong cross-functional partner, able to influence and align peers and stakeholders across product, design, and business functions.
-
You have experience with international or multi-market product development, with an appreciation for the complexity of operating across geographies and regulatory environments.

Manager, SMB SalesNew
Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions – to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes – large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We're building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.
The Role
We are looking for an Sales Manager to lead our growing team of Account Executives and increase revenue against individual, team and overall Sales goals.

Your entrepreneurial approach will be a valuable contribution to developing our strategy, growing the team, and establishing a culture of crisp execution.
We expect this individual to work with a team of remote AEs to co-sell and generate revenue for Square. You will have an active role representing Sales across internal teams, working together with leadership on strategy definition and sales plans. As a brand ambassador for Square, you'll help drive our mission while managing and developing your team of Account Executives to achieve their full potential.
You Will
- Create a team culture of trust, accountability, success and fun where people are encouraged to share information, constructively debate, and communicate freely
- Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect meetings
- Develop a sales team which includes hiring and training new account executives on sales process
- Promote rigorous sales development execution and oversight, and KPI management including hourly/daily metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management

- Coach direct reports regarding strategies to increase revenue and customer success
- Evolve the sales strategy, process and tactics to improve performance
- Use the customer voice to improve our products
- Envision new ideas and approaches and take them to fruition

- 3 years of documented sales success as an individual contributor exceeding target
- Experience in hiring, training and ramping new Account Executives
- Proven track record in collaborating across different teams with the ability to inspire change

- Success developing Account Executives into top performers through structured coaching and clear performance expectations.
- Deep expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and using data to improve business outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience hiring exceptional talent and building teams that consistently outperform.
- Strong business judgment with the ability to balance short-term execution and long-term organizational health.
