London remains Europe's fintech hiring hub, and Finjobsly's live data backs that up: 205 active vacancies are currently based in the city, more than any other UK location on the platform.
Who's hiring
Monzo leads London-based postings with 44 active roles, followed by Stripe (39), Zopa (27), Ripple (18), Block (16) and Carta (14). Thought Machine (12), Toast (9), Plaid, Fireblocks and Adyen (5 each) and GoCardless (3) round out the list.
What roles are open
London's mix skews toward customer-facing and go-to-market roles alongside engineering: customer success management, senior software engineering, sales and account management, and compliance all show up repeatedly, plus a steady thread of senior compliance and credit risk roles, unsurprising given how many of these employers are regulated UK lenders and neobanks.
What London fintech pays
Across the 45 active London roles with posted GBP salary ranges, the average posted range runs from roughly £93,900 at the low end to £120,500 at the high end. Engineering-specific roles across the UK post noticeably higher, averaging closer to £130,600 to £179,800, so London's blended average reflects a mix of engineering, ops and customer-facing pay bands rather than engineering alone.
