We’re looking for a Senior Audit Innovation and Enablement Lead to help reinvent Internal Audit at Monzo. You’ll have the freedom to redefine how assurance is delivered at scale, by building products that power continuous and intelligent assurance.
You don’t need an audit background for this role. What we’re looking for is a technical builder who thinks like a product owner.
⭐ Our Internal Audit team
Internal Audit is Monzo’s Third Line of Defence, and we’re here to help Monzo grow safely. We’re looking for a passionate Data and Innovation Lead, to build data and AI products that create an outsized impact for the Internal Audit function.
This is a highly cross-functional role that gives you a holistic and global view of Monzo. You’ll be an individual contributor who can deliver impact through others.
If you’re excited by the prospect of building and deploying scalable AI-led products that redefine what assurance looks like, then we want to hear from you.
🔑 You’ll play a key role by...
- Championing a product owner mindset across the Internal Audit function, that is focused on providing technology enabled, repeatable and value-driven assurance.
- Driving a culture of innovation, and helping the Internal Audit function to translate creative concepts into practical solutions.
- Working closely with the Head of Professional Practices, Senior Audit Transformation Lead and the audit team to identify opportunities for innovation, and define the product roadmap.
- Helping the business audit team to design data-driven test strategies, and translate control objectives into scalable analytical tests and metrics.
- Building, deploying and maintaining scalable AI and automation solutions, and becoming an advocate for their adoption.
- Fostering a data-led understanding of risk through data science.
- Establishing robust monitoring controls over the completeness and accuracy of key datasets that are ingested into data products.
- Staying at the forefront of emerging technology trends, and collaborating with other parts of Monzo to make sure Internal Audit leverages and capitalises on broader developments.
- Building collaborative working relationships with stakeholders outside of Internal Audit, such as the Data Discipline.
- Training and upskilling the Internal Audit function on using data and AI solutions.
🤩 We’d love to hear from you if…
- You have worked in fast-moving environments, and been involved with developing risk and control frameworks.
- You have a strong technical foundation in data science and analytics engineering, and have experience working with modern technology stacks.
- You think like a product owner, can influence without authority, have a track record of driving technology adoption.
- You are a natural translator and collaborator, who can bridge the gap between data science and business risk.
- You understand the risks inherent to AI and automation, and can design controls to manage these risks.

Manager, Business Development - Central & Northern Europe
This is Adyen
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
We are looking for a builder, not just a manager. As the Team Lead for Business Development based in Berlin, you will hold a dual mandate: Coach the talent and Engineer the GTM strategy.
You will lead the team responsible for the DACH, CEE, and Nordics regions, markets that require distinct strategies and precision. We are moving beyond standard "SDR" motions. We need a leader who can analyze signal patterns, partner with RevOps to automate workflows, and provide our Heads of Sales with predictive insights on which verticals will trend next.
What you’ll do
- Lead & Develop (The People): Recruit, hire, and coach a high-performing team of 9 Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You won’t just track KPIs; you will dissect calls, refine commercial judgment, and help BDRs "create their own path" toward closing roles.
- GTM Architecture (The Engine): Act as the "GTM Engineer" for your region. Work with RevOps to optimize lead routing, data enrichment, and dashboarding. If the process is broken, you don't just report it: you fix it.
- Strategic Forecasting: Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing to tailor our go-to-market strategy per vertical. You will identify future trending sectors in DACH/CEE/Nordics before they hit the mainstream news.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Embed a culture of A/B testing. Use data to refine messaging and targeting. You will be the bridge between the qualitative feedback of the BDRs and the quantitative rigor of our systems.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Champion the "Global License to Operate." Ensure your team collaborates effectively with Industry Leads, Head of Sales and Country Managers, adhering to our rules of engagement and Salesforce hygiene is non-negotiable.
Who you are
- You have 3+ years in Sales/Business Development, with at least 1+ year leading a team or driving complex GTM projects.
- You are comfortable with the "Ops" side of sales. You understand that Salesforce is the source of truth and know how to leverage tools to uncover bottlenecks.
- You drive performance through empathy and radical candor ("Talk straight without being rude"). You build teams that win together.
- You can look at a list of 100 accounts and explain why we should prioritize the top 10 based on market signals, not just guesswork.
- You are fluent in English and German. Experience working across CEE or Nordic markets is a significant plus.
Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments
Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you’re from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.
Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Does this sound like you? If so, Adyen encourages you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application!
What’s next?
Ensuring a smooth and enjoyable candidate experience is critical for us. We aim to get back to you regarding your application within 5 business days. Our interview process tends to take about 4 weeks to complete, but may fluctuate depending on the role. Learn more about our hiring process here. Don’t be afraid to let us know if you need more flexibility.
This role is based out of our Berlin office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
