Product Manager, Connect
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the Product - Connect Platform
Connect is Stripe’s platform for businesses that serve other businesses. It gives platforms the infrastructure to represent the people and companies in their ecosystem, onboard and verify them, manage their accounts, accept payments, and pay them out - without building payments, compliance, or financial-services systems themselves. This is how businesses like Shopify can help entrepreneurs run and grow their businesses. It is also the kind of infrastructure that marketplaces such as DoorDash need to coordinate money movement across large networks of restaurants, merchants, and dashers.
Connect has impact across industries. Shopify uses Stripe to embed financial services for merchants; Lugg streamlines worker onboarding and offers instant payouts; DoorLoop reduces manual customer onboarding tasks by nearly 50% with Stripe; and Sharetribe helps entrepreneurs launch and run marketplaces on Stripe.
AI is accelerating the emergence of entirely new business models: global networks of creators and experts, AI-native marketplaces, and agent-driven products that change how people discover, buy, sell, and deliver services. These businesses are more dynamic than traditional platforms: participants may operate across borders, take on different roles, and need new ways to establish trust, access financial capabilities, and get paid.
The Connect Abstractions team owns the platform primitives that make these models possible. We are building the foundational abstractions for representing participants, onboarding them safely, configuring their capabilities, and managing their lifecycle on Stripe. Our work will determine how quickly the next generation of platforms can launch, how flexibly they can evolve, and how much of Stripe they can bring to the businesses and people they serve.
Why this role
This is a chance to define a foundational product area at Stripe. You will turn a fast-changing set of user and product needs into durable platform primitives that work across products, industries, and geographies.
The role combines high-leverage strategy with hands-on product execution. You will work through ambiguous, consequential questions like: what should a platform be able to model? What should be simple by default but flexible when needed? How can Stripe make complex financial infrastructure feel effortless for a platform and its users?
The outcome of your work will compound. The abstractions you help create will be reused across Connect and Stripe, shaping what new products platforms can build and how quickly they can bring them to market.
What you’ll do
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to build the platform experiences behind Connect's next generation of users. You will own critical product primitives that platforms, including the fastest-growing AI companies, use to onboard, configure, and manage their users on Stripe. You will turn a clear strategic direction into products that solve hard user problems today while creating a coherent, extensible foundation for business models that are still being invented.
This role is for someone who enjoys the depth of platform work but is uncompromising about product craft and solving real user needs - both the ones users have today and will have in the future. The work is not building infra for its own sake; you will build capabilities that help our users launch a new marketplace, enable a global network to pay its contributors, or give a business entirely new ways for their end users to earn.
Responsibilities
- Bring the next generation of Connect accounts to life. Own key product areas within the account platform, translating strategy into a focused roadmap, crisp product decisions, and high-quality launches.
- Build from use cases. Start with the real problems platforms face, such as onboarding a new seller, supporting a complex business model, or evolving a user's financial capabilities, and then work towards the primitives needed to solve them well.
- Make sophisticated infrastructure feel simple. Partner with engineering and design to create API and product experiences that are powerful and intuitive.
- See around corners. Develop a strong point of view on how AI will change platform economics, participant models, and financial workflows. Make focused foundational investments that unlock the next wave of demand.
- Turn user signals into durable product investments. Work closely with users, Sales, Partnerships, and other Stripe teams to distinguish bespoke requests from patterns that should become scalable platform capabilities, connecting business needs, user needs, and platform evolution.
- Drive high-velocity, high-craft execution and own outcomes. Lead cross-functional work from discovery through launch, and hold yourself accountable for developer experience, platform adoption, user value, and business impact, not simply features shipped.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
- You are a product builder who can move easily between a user’s hardest problem, the business opportunity behind it, and the product decisions needed to solve it.
- You have worked on technically complex products - such as APIs, developer tools, shared platform capabilities, or core product experiences - but you do not build tech/platform for its own sake. You see strong platform design as a way to help users move faster, create better products, and unlock new business models.
- You are opinionated, thoughtful, and execution-oriented. You can focus a team on the few decisions that matter most, create momentum in ambiguous situations, and ship products that raise the bar for both quality and impact.
Minimum requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time owning platform, API, or developer-facing products end to end
- Demonstrated ability to own a product area end to end: setting strategy, driving execution, and measuring outcomes
- Strong analytical instincts and comfort defining the measurement framework before you ship
- Clear written communication and the ability to build alignment across functions and levels
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure
- Experience productizing bespoke or custom solutions into broadly available platform capabilities
- A track record of making well-judged foundational investments ahead of user demand

Role Overview
At Ripple, we're building a world where value moves like information does today. It's big, it's bold, and we're already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.
If you're ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.
THE WORK:
Ripple Treasury is the first enterprise treasury management system with native digital asset capabilities, giving CFOs and treasury teams a single platform to manage fiat and digital liquidity, settle cross-border payments in near real time, and put idle cash to work on-chain.
We're hiring a Business Development Senior Manager to sit across Ripple Treasury, Ripple Core (Payments, Custody, RLUSD, RippleX) and Ripple Prime, and find the commercial opportunities that only make sense when you look at the whole product suite together. Think a treasury client who also needs cross-border payments, a CFO who wants on-chain yield without leaving their TMS, or a distribution partner who can move tokenized assets to finance teams at scale.
This is a lateral thinking role. Most of the deals in scope won't fit neatly into a single product team's pipeline. You'll need to spot them first, build the internal case, and bring the right teams together to close them.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Identify and structure commercial opportunities that span Ripple Treasury, Ripple Core and Ripple Prime, with Ripple Treasury as the anchor product.
- Build distribution partnerships that give corporate treasury teams access to yield-bearing digital assets through the Ripple Treasury platform, without standing up separate crypto infrastructure.
- Develop a pipeline of Ripple Treasury clients who are natural buyers of Ripple's payment rails, and hand qualified opportunities to the right teams to close.
- Work with the RLUSD team to identify how RLUSD fits into the treasury workflow, for settlement, intercompany liquidity and on-chain yield, and build partnerships with banks, fintechs and enterprise software platforms to accelerate adoption through the treasury channel.
- Track what Kyriba, FIS, SAP and other TMS players are doing in stablecoins and digital assets, and bring that competitive analysis into Ripple's positioning.
- Build and maintain CFO and Treasurer-level relationships at large, sophisticated accounts, focused on identifying strategic entry points rather than closing transactions directly.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships or corporate strategy within enterprise fintech, financial services or treasury technology, ideally with direct exposure to treasury management or enterprise payments.
- Real familiarity with how corporate treasury teams work, including cash management, liquidity, bank relationships, FX and the TMS landscape.
- Enough fluency in digital assets, stablecoins and tokenization to hold a credible conversation with a skeptical CFO, and the judgement to know when to bring in a specialist.
- A track record of building commercial opportunities from ambiguous starting points, without an existing playbook to follow.
- A strong network across corporate treasury, enterprise fintech and financial services.
- Clear, direct communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives internally and externally.
- Based in Chicago or willing to relocate.
WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW:
Ripple Treasury launched in April 2026 as the first TMS with native digital asset capabilities. Stablecoin payment volume hit $33 trillion in 2025, up 72% year on year, and the GENIUS Act has cleared much of the regulatory uncertainty that was holding back enterprise adoption. CFOs are paying attention.
The Ripple Treasury team knows how to run and grow the platform. What's missing is someone one level up asking who else we should be working with, what deals we're missing, and how Ripple Treasury becomes the anchor for something bigger. That's this role.
