AffirmRemote US
Full-timeNot specifiedJul 24, 2026

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.

Come join us in our mission to change consumer finance through better data and technology, lower costs, and increased transparency while providing the best customer experience!

About the Risk & Analytics Team: The Risk & Analytics (R&A) team makes crucial decisions that direct Affirm’s business strategy. We partner with Machine Learning, Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, and Commercial teams to grow Affirm responsibly by optimizing approval, conversion, losses, and profitability.

Operating across the entire customer and merchant lifecycle, we tackle a diverse array of challenges from optimizing checkout conversion and mitigating fraud risk, to building scalable data foundations and enabling international growth. We analyze performance not just to report on it, but to determine where to invest resources for maximum impact through building tools, scalable data infrastructure, and analytical frameworks. We improve the analytics experience across Affirm by streamlining workflows and fostering a culture of learning and documentation. By taking ownership of the entire analytical lifecycle, from initial question to final business decision, we turn complex data and systems into clear, actionable signals that ensure Affirm grows efficiently and intelligently.

Our Teams (Where You Might Sit): Candidates hired into the R&A organization will be sorted into a core team based on business need and background. Our primary domains include:

  • Point of Sale (POS): Optimize merchant and checkout performance to improve conversion, approvals, and unit economics across the purchase funnel.
  • Direct to Consumer (DTC) / Card: Drive engagement, repeat usage, and lifecycle health across Affirm's app, web, and card experiences.
  • Fraud: Prevent and reduce fraud losses across the customer journey while maintaining a frictionless user experience.
  • Core Analytics: Build the quantitative research, performance monitoring, and scalable data foundations that enable fast, economically sound decisions.
  • Servicing: Enhance the post-origination customer experience by analyzing repayment behavior, collections strategies, and operational efficiency.
  • International Expansion: Build the measurement and decision foundations needed to sustainably launch and scale Affirm in new global markets.

About the Role

As a Senior Analyst (L5), you will operate with autonomy to own the entire analytical lifecycle—from initial question to final business decision. You bring exceptional analytical rigor, deep domain expertise, and the ability to translate complex regulatory, economic, and machine learning insights into actionable business strategies. You thrive in ambiguity, balance growth with resilience, and are comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels to influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.

What You Will Do

  • Optimize End-to-End Strategy: Leverage advanced data analytics to independently derive insights, develop, and optimize business, risk, or growth strategies across products and geographies.
  • Manage Macro & Market Trends: Monitor portfolio performance and exogenous macroeconomic trends; proactively adjust analytical and operational strategies to mitigate risk and balance growth.
  • Model & Capability Building: Partner deeply with Engineering and ML teams to design, build, and interpret performance metrics for scalable risk, fraud, or growth models.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to interpret evolving regulatory and market requirements, translating them directly into analytical policy and product design recommendations.
  • Oversee Frameworks & Launches: Oversee the development and execution of analytical frameworks. Drive cross-functional discussions to ensure new product launches and market entries align with risk appetite, operational capabilities, and local regulations.
  • External & Strategic Alignment: Engage with external stakeholders including merchants, vendors, and partners to align practices, ensure compliance, and strengthen strategic relationships.
  • AI Leverage & Mentorship: Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows that compound across the team's analyses, while mentoring junior analysts on technical craft and domain nuances.

What We Look For

  • 2–5 years of proven experience in an analytically-driven role within the consumer lending, credit, or fintech industry, specifically leveraging advanced analytics to develop and optimize business strategies.
  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Deep expertise in data mining, data visualization, and statistical modeling, with experience applying machine learning techniques to business or risk management problems.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives that bridge Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to align analytical strategies with business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of consumer lending regulations, regional market dynamics, and the broader economic landscape influencing policy and growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulatory and economic insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.

About the opportunity

Banking Foundations domain mission for N26 is to provide secure and compliant banking services that are frictionless and innovative for customers, while enabling efficient operations and informed decision-making for our staff.

Growth Workflow Specialist, Organic Growth

KrakenUnited States
Full-time$92,000 - $192,000Jul 24, 2026
Building the Future of Open Finance Payward - the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services and CF Benchmarks - has spent the last 15 years building one of the most modern and globally accessible financial infrastructure platforms in the industry, built to advance an open, global financial system. Before you apply, we encourage you to explore our culture page to understand what drives us and how we work. The team Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients. Organic growth is being rebuilt. Traditional SEO is being disrupted by AI driven answer engines that synthesize information directly rather than listing links. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the emerging frontier, optimizing for LLM visibility, ensuring your brand and products appear in AI generated answers, and building content systems that earn organic presence in a world where the algorithm is an intelligence, not just a crawler. As Growth Workflow Specialist (Organic Growth), you will automate and scale the organic growth engine. Working closely with our organic growth strategy lead, you translate SEO and AEO strategy into automated workflows, content brief generation pipelines, LLM visibility monitoring, content deployment automation, competitor gap analysis, and more. You are the person who takes what the strategist knows and makes it run at the speed and scale that only automation enables. Working at Brex allows you to push your limits, challenge the status quo, and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. We’re committed to building a diverse team and inclusive culture and believe your potential should only be limited by how big you can dream. We make this a reality by empowering you with the tools, resources, and support you need to grow your career.

Legal at Brex

The Legal team helps the company grow responsibly, advocating for Brex and for the thousands of growing businesses we serve. We provide strategic advice and guidance to all Brex teams, protect Brex, advise on risk, and represent the company externally, negotiating with partners and interacting with regulators. Reimagining the financial system in a highly regulated environment requires creativity and resourcefulness, and we welcome the challenge.

What you'll do

You will help us build, globally scale, and continuously improve our bill pay product and adjacent payments offerings. You'll be a subject matter expert on money transmission and payments regulation, providing strategic advice on risk and regulatory ambiguity as we ship new features. Embedded with engineering, design, and product, you'll partner from the earliest stages of ideation through launch—translating complex regulatory requirements into practical product decisions and helping the team move fast without compromising on compliance. You'll also collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (including compliance, risk, marketing, sales, partnerships, and bank and payments-network relationships) to find creative solutions to business problems. You know how to break a project down into first principles and see it from concept to release, and you understand when to solve a problem in-house versus when to strategically and cost-effectively deploy outside counsel.

Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our Salt Lake City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the embedded legal partner to engineering, design, and product teams building bill pay and payments features, advising in real time as products are designed and built
  • Provide pragmatic, actionable advice on money transmission requirements and best practices for existing and new bill pay and payments products
  • Advise on the regulatory implications of product architecture, payment flows, fund movement, and feature design, helping teams make sound build-versus-defer decisions
  • Advise a variety of cross-functional partners on critical money transmission and payments regulatory questions
  • Track and analyze US state and federal money transmission laws, along with relevant international payments regulations, and help Brex stay ahead of regulatory change affecting bill pay
  • Advise on product and marketing collateral, customer communications, and disclosures for bill pay and payments products
  • Draft, update, and maintain customer agreements, terms, and disclosures for bill pay and money movement products
  • Support licensing, bank partner, and payments-network requirements as they relate to product launches

Requirements

  • 4+ years working experience in a combination of law firms and fintech companies, ideally advising on money transmission, payments, and money movement matters for regulated financial products
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and international money transmission and payments laws and regulations, including state money transmitter licensing, the Bank Secrecy Act/AML requirements, EFTA/Regulation E, NACHA operating rules, and required disclosures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both internal (memos, guides, presentations) and external (customer agreements, terms, disclosures, customer communications)
  • Ownership mentality and comfort working on complex matters that require sound judgment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Law degree and admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction
  • Willingness to be a team player who pitches in to help out on other products and topics; one of our key tenets is "One Brex"

Bonus Points

  • Prior in-house counsel experience at a scaling fintech, payments, or money movement company
  • Experience negotiating with or managing bank partner and payments-network relationships
  • Experience interacting directly with regulatory agencies

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $189,000 - $230,000 USD.  However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

Please be aware, job-seekers may be at risk of targeting by malicious actors looking for personal data. Brex recruiters will only reach out via LinkedIn or email with a brex.com domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Brex via other sources should be ignored.

Fintech sits at the intersection of regulated finance and consumer-grade software, and FinJobsly tracks the people building it. Every role on this page comes from a primary employer ATS or trusted partner — Stripe, Revolut, Wise, Monzo, Starling, Klarna, GoCardless, Adyen, Tide, Brex, Plaid, Affirm, Carta and several hundred others — so you only see live, currently-hiring positions instead of stale aggregator copies.

We split fintech hiring into the buckets that actually map to job ladders: payments and money movement, neobanking, lending and credit, wealth and wealth-tech, RegTech and compliance, and the platform/infrastructure layer used by all of the above. Filters along the side let you narrow by remote-first vs hybrid, seniority, contract type, and base salary band, while the keyword search reads the full job description (not just the title) so a search for “PSD2” or “KYC” surfaces roles even when the title is something generic like “Senior Backend Engineer”.

If you are early in your career, the entry-level and graduate filter highlights structured programmes at Monzo, Revolut and Wise. Mid- and senior-level engineers will find a strong skew toward Go, TypeScript, Kotlin and Python, while product, design and risk functions are dominated by London, Berlin, New York, Singapore and remote-EMEA postings. Salary benchmarks shown on each card are sourced from posted ranges where the employer publishes them, never from third-party guesses, so the numbers you see are the numbers you can negotiate against.

FinJobsly is built specifically for fintech: jobs are auto-tagged with the exact stack and regulatory regime mentioned in the description, duplicate listings from the same ATS are collapsed, and roles older than 30 days drop off automatically. The result is a clean, opinionated board where every click goes to a real role you can apply to today.

Direct-to-employer applications

Apply links go straight to the employer's ATS — no recruiter middlemen, no expired postings.

Salary transparency where available

Where employers publish salary bands we surface them on the card; where they don't we mark it explicitly.

Built-in role filters

Slice live listings by remote, seniority, contract type, stack and regulatory experience.
