As a Staff Engineer at Carta, you are a technical anchor for our business. You don't just own features, you take long-term accountability for the technical health and strategic direction of different domains.
Middle Office is where Carta's two client bases meet. Our cap table products serve companies; our fund administration products serve funds. You'll work across a connected suite of products for PE and VC firms, fund administrators, and institutional investors, with a primary focus today on private equity, AI-powered ingestion of portfolio company financials and KPIs, portfolio valuation and allocation models, waterfall and fund forecasting across complex multi-entity structures, and a unified view of a firm's holdings, including companies that don't use Carta for equity management. Sitting in the middle of Carta's ERP, most of what we build ships in partnership with other teams.

You know how to find common ground with leadership and peers alike to build relationships. You are professional and eager to learn about the business, and collaborate with fellow EAs on impactful projects.
