The team are responsible for supporting our front-line agents and working directly with customers to resolve escalated and varied queries across our range of products and services. We are a customer focused organisation, and the team play a critical role in delivering the standard of customer experience that we pride ourselves on at Zopa. As a Customer Service Team Leader at Zopa, you will be responsible for the management, organisation, and co-ordination of the day-to-day work of a team of agents to deliver the highest standards of service to our customers. Because customers are so central to our business, we have a strong track record of progressing high performing operations agents within the business – either to ops career paths or to other functions, so it is imperative that you are passionate about people and their development to support individuals reach their personal career aspirations. With the growth of our product range, particularly our current account offering, this role will be heavily focused on supporting the team to deliver results against some key business objectives. You will ensure you have adequate oversight of team performance and act on any insight that can help improve how we do things with a continuous improvement mindset. You’ll work closely with our current account product team to ensure we’re building a great product and acting as a voice for customers and your team, whilst ensuring product led initiatives land well within your team. Working pattern: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern covering hours between 8:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work from the Manchester office three days per week, unless scheduled on a late shift. In addition, you will work one weekend per month from home (9:00am–5:30pm), with time off in lieu provided during the week. Some bank holiday working will also be required, with time off in lieu.

You can identify opportunities to improve the service we offer and make decisions aimed at creating an exceptional customer experience every time. Delivering first-call resolution by working closely with other areas and taking ownership of each customer interaction is essential to this role. You will work 5 days out of 7, totalling 37.5 hours per week. The working pattern will consist of 7.5 hour shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Friday, and you will work one weekend a month, 9 am – 5:30 pm. This is a hybrid role. The team works in the office Monday - Wednesday. You will be required to work some bank holidays each year, for which you will receive time off in lieu.

It’s a genuinely complex environment that needs someone who can lead a team, exercise sound judgement on difficult cases, and help the business learn from what complaints are telling it. Reporting to the Head of Complaints, you’ll lead a complaints management team, own the process, and make informed, balanced and complex decisions where needed. You’ll be setting the standard for how we handle our most complex and high-risk cases especially those that go to the Financial Ombudsman Service and making sure what we learn from complaints actually improves how Zopa is built and run. This is a senior role with real influence. You’ll work with Product, Risk, Credit, Legal and Operations, and represent Complaints in senior forums where decisions get made. You’ll own complaints across our banking and lending products, including auto finance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analysing financial transactions to detect and prevent suspicious activity related to money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Working Pattern: This is a hybrid role – the team works in the office 3 days a week. Your working week will consist of 7.5 hour shifts between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Friday, and you will be required to work one day of the weekend every other week, remotely. If you work a day at the weekend, you will receive a day off during the week.
