September 2026snapshot — a first-party, monthly read on the fintech job market drawn straight from 1,000 active listings on Finjobsly. Updated daily; the row for each month locks once that month ends, so past editions never change.
Where 1,000 active listings classify by fintech sub-vertical, keyword-matched against enriched listing text.
Work location
Seniority
Each row in the Hiring Index covers every job listing on Finjobsly with status “active” that has not passed its listing window (30–90 days depending on plan, or an explicit expiry date). A cron job recomputes and overwrites the current month’s row daily; once a new month starts, the previous month’s row is marked locked and is never written to again.
Remote/hybrid/onsite mix and seniority are read directly from each listing’s structured location and seniority fields. Salary disclosure rate counts listings with either a minimum or maximum pay value set. Sub-vertical mix is computed with the same keyword-classification logic used on Finjobsly’s category pages (e.g. /fintech-jobs, /ai-finance-jobs), applied only to listings with an enriched description — so the sum of sub-vertical counts can be less than the total active count, and a listing can appear in more than one sub-vertical.
No figure on this page is estimated, modelled, or sourced from a third party: every number is a direct count over Finjobsly’s own live listings at the time the row was last computed (12 September 2026).
