What you'll own

Own the product strategy and roadmap for Trading Tools and Say, leading cross‑functional teams to ship mobile research, charting, watchlist, and shareholder engagement features.

What they're looking for

4+ years of mobile consumer product management, strong data‑driven decision making, interest in markets, and excellent communication; fintech or active‑trader experience is a plus.

Why this role matters

The role shapes the core tools millions of active traders use daily and expands Robinhood’s shareholder Q&A platform, directly impacting user engagement and the company’s mission to democratize finance.

Best suited to

A self‑starter with a scrappy, ownership mindset, user‑centric intuition, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, design, data, compliance, and leadership.

About this role

Join us in building the future of finance.

Our mission is to democratize finance for all. An estimated $124 trillion of assets will be inherited by younger generations in the next two decades. The largest transfer of wealth in human history. If you’re ready to be at the epicenter of this historic cultural and financial shift, keep reading.

About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. We're looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn't a place for complacency, it's where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We're a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The Trading Tools team builds the research and analysis tools active traders use every day on mobile: asset charts, asset pages, watchlists, portfolio analysis, and the trading ladder. The team also owns Say, Robinhood's shareholder engagement business, which lets investors ask questions at earnings calls and vote their shares. Together these surfaces are how millions of customers research, track, and act on what they own.

You’ll shape the future of how users engage with complex financial tools by simplifying decision-making and creating thoughtful, engaging experiences for our retail audience. This is an opportunity to drive new product innovation from the ground up!

This role is based in our New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you'll do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Trading Tools and Say
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to ship on mobile at high quality
  • Improve how active traders research and act on positions through charts, watchlists, research, and the trading ladder
  • Grow Say by making shareholder Q&A and proxy voting easy and relevant for everyday investors
  • Use data, experimentation, and user research to decide what to build and measure the results
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and operations on products that touch shareholder rights and market data
  • Communicate priorities and results clearly to engineering, design, and leadership

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • 4+ years of direct product management experience building high-quality consumer products on mobile
  • Demonstrated history of using research, experimentation and analytics to guide decision making
  • Interest in markets and how retail investors trade and manage their portfolios
  • (Nice to have) Experience in fintech, brokerage, or investing products
  • (Nice to have) Active trader or investor who uses these kinds of tools yourself
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Motivated self-starter and scrappy
  • Ownership mindset with a scrappy can-do attitude
  • Strong communicator and collaborator
  • User-centric, strong product intuition

What we offer

  • Market competitive and pay equity-focused compensation structure
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Annual lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more!
  • Lifetime maximum benefit for family forming and fertility benefits
  • Dedicated mental health support for employees and eligible dependents
  • Generous time away including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits
