About this role

🚀 We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone.

We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking.

After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us.

With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

We’re not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo ❤️

📍London or Remote (UK) | 💰£42,500 - £55,500 + Benefits |

We are looking for a results driven Senior Growth Marketing Executive to help us launch and scale Monzo Business across our growing European markets.

You’ll play a key role in delivering our EU growth strategy, taking ownership of the day-to-day execution and optimisation of our Direct Mail campaigns, while also supporting activity across Paid Social and where needed, Search too.

We're looking for someone with strong hands-on Direct Mail experience who is excited to broaden their performance marketing skills. You'll help us take what we've learned from growing Monzo Business in the UK and our early European markets, test how those playbooks translate locally, and build new approaches where they don't.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on campaign execution, working across multiple channels and markets, and using data to continually test, learn and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of activity across our European markets, from campaign planning and set up through to optimisation, measurement and reporting
  • Take a leading role in delivering and optimising our Direct Mail activity, including audience selection, campaign planning, creative development, supplier coordination, testing and performance analysis
  • Support campaign execution across Paid Social and Paid Search, working closely with our channel managers to launch and optimise activity
  • Help develop testing strategies around account structure, campaign planning, experiments, and creative roadmaps
  • Work closely with local market teams and our Brand, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Product and Data teams to deliver campaigns that are locally relevant and grounded in customer insight
  • Share learnings across the wider Growth Marketing team, helping us build repeatable playbooks for launching Monzo Business in new markets

This Is For You If

  • You put the customer first. We’re a mission-led company and everything we do is to benefit our customers
  • You take a ‘test and learn’ approach and love agile ways of working
  • You have experience delivering Direct Mail campaigns, ideally within an acquisition or growth marketing environment
  • You have experience across, or are curious to expand your skills into, other performance channels such as Paid Social and Paid Search
  • You like to use data to tell a story about performance and understand how our business customers engage with us
  • You’re highly organised and enjoy getting campaigns from idea through to execution, coordinating across different teams and partners
  • Experience in financial services, B2B marketing or international markets is a plus, but not essential

The team

You’ll join our Growth Marketing team at Monzo and report into Ashil Shavdia, Growth Marketing Lead (Business Banking).

You’ll work closely with our Paid Search, Paid Social and Direct Mail specialists, as well as colleagues across our European markets, Integrated Marketing, Product and Data teams.

You’ll be joining at an exciting stage of Monzo Business’s European expansion, helping us establish how we acquire customers efficiently in new markets and build the playbooks we can use as we continue to grow.

The Interview Process

Our interview process involves three main stages:

  • Recruiter Call (30mins)
  • Initial Call (30mins)
  • Role Specific & Behavioural Interviews via Google Meet (45mins for each interview)

This process should take around 3-4 weeks - your schedule is really important to us, so we promise to be as flexible as possible!

We have some guidelines on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to ace an application and interview at Monzo. You can read them here.

You’ll hear from us throughout the application process, but if you’ve got any questions, please reach out to hiring@monzo.com. You can also use this email address to let us know if there’s anything we can do to make the process easier for you because of disability, neurodiversity or anything else.

What's In It For You

  • £42,500 - £55,500 as a base salary
  • This role will be based out of our London office next to Liverpool Street station in a hybrid approach of office based and home working, or remotely within the UK
  • We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, at times that suit you and your team.
  • Learning budget of £1,000 a year for books, training courses and conferences
  • And much more, see our full list of benefits here

We’ll only close this role once we have enough applications for the next stage. Please submit your application as soon as possible to make sure you don’t miss out.
