You’ll own the development and delivery of banking features in the ToastNow Android app, taking features from design through release and ensuring they are reliable, maintainable and well‑tested.
The role requires strong Android experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, coroutines, Flow and modern architecture (e.g., MVI), plus proactive communication and cross‑team collaboration.
Building these banking capabilities gives restaurant owners direct access to accounts, cards and loans within ToastNow, supporting Toast’s Embedded Finance mission to empower the hospitality industry.
Ideal candidates are seasoned Android engineers who thrive in hybrid, collaborative environments, enjoy shaping product with design and product partners, and are eager to leverage AI tools while working closely with US and Dublin teams.
Toast builds the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. Our Embedded Finance division develops financial products tailored specifically to restaurants, including bank accounts, debit and credit cards, and loans.
We’re looking for an Android Software Engineer III to join our Banking team in Dublin, part of Toast’s Embedded Finance division. You’ll help build new financial capabilities in the ToastNow Android app, giving restaurant owners convenient access to the tools they need to manage their finances.
