5+ years of software/application/integration engineering experience, strong Python (FastAPI/Flask) skills, proficiency with REST/JSON/Webhooks/OAuth/GraphQL, familiarity with integration platforms and the Workday ecosystem, and a security‑first mindset.
The role ensures the People Tech stack is reliable, scalable, and secure, eliminating manual friction and enabling fast delivery of employee experience solutions across Adyen’s global business.

As part of our Build HR Technology & Analytics team, we are looking for a People Technology Applications Engineer based out of our Amsterdam office.
In this role, you will lead the application and integration engineering layer for our People organization. You will design, build, and maintain custom applications, API middleware, automated workflows, and system-to-system integrations across our Workday ecosystem and enterprise tools. You will think beyond individual SaaS platforms to establish scalable application architecture, low-code/custom code solutions, and seamless user experiences.
