Own a scoped HR technology project end‑to‑end, from defining the problem with stakeholders through design, build, test and production deployment of custom apps, integrations and AI‑powered workflows.
Currently pursuing a CS/Software Engineering degree or equivalent, with proven ability to build, test, debug and ship software, experience with AI prototypes or LLM‑based workflows, and strong project delivery and communication skills.
The role builds internal tools that automate manual HR processes, improving employee experience and delivering measurable efficiency gains for Coinbase’s People Success team.

We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern to join the HR Technology team within People Success for a 12-week summer 2027 internship. This team builds the internal applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows that help Coinbase employees move faster. You'll own a scoped project from discovery through production, making technical decisions across the stack and shipping working software that automates manual HR processes and measurably improves the employee experience.
