About This Role

Carta connects founders, investors, and limited partners through world-class software purpose-built for venture capital, private equity, and private credit, trusted by 65,000+ companies in 160+ countries.

This Account Executive will join Carta's SMB sales team within the Private Corporations business unit, selling to early-stage companies (typically Series A and earlier), focusing on individual execution and personal velocity to sustainably close 20-25 deals per month, capturing companies at incorporation and supporting them as their cap table needs grow.

No fintech or equity expertise required on day one - Carta trains on cap tables, the MEDDIC sales framework, and CRM tools. Looking for someone hungry to grow, coachable, resilient, and comfortable leveraging AI tools (including Claude Code) for prospecting, coaching, client communications, and admin automation.

Location: New York City, NY. Cash compensation (salary + commission): $150k OTE.
