Serve as the internal and customer‑facing expert on these products and share market feedback with product and engineering teams.

What they're looking for

6+ years of customer‑facing sales experience at a technology or payments firm, professional spoken Mandarin, strong English communication, and a proven record of building senior‑level relationships and handling complex negotiations.

Why this role matters

The role drives revenue growth and product adoption for Stripe’s Money Management suite in a fast‑growing region, while providing critical customer insights that shape the product roadmap and overall go‑to‑market strategy.

Best suited to

A self‑motivated, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment, enjoys deep product expertise, and can navigate diverse APAC markets and Mandarin‑speaking customers.

About this role

About Stripe

Millions of companies, from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups, use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe is investing in its Money Management Product Sales team to help prospects and customers transform their businesses by building on Stripe’s platform.

Stripe’s global Product Sales team drives revenue and growth by helping users understand our products and integrate them into their businesses. We’re known for our product expertise, rigorous thinking, and user-first approach to problem-solving. Within Stripe, Product Sales is a critical source of user feedback and market intelligence, with direct influence on our product roadmap and growth strategy.

What you’ll do

Based in Singapore, you’ll help drive growth for Stripe’s Issuing and Treasury products across Asia Pacific (APAC), excluding Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You’ll build relationships with prospects and existing customers across the region, tailoring your approach to their business needs and local market context.

You’ll partner closely with Account Executives across the region in a co-selling model, bringing deep Issuing and Treasury expertise to shared customer opportunities. Together, you’ll identify customer needs, build account strategies, and lead deals from discovery through commercial negotiations and close, with clear ownership and a coordinated customer experience. You’ll also be expected to collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other go-to-market teams to develop deep product and industry knowledge, lead complex deals, and shape our regional go-to-market strategy. You’ll lead in-depth product discussions with business and technical stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking customers.

You’re an experienced sales professional who can build value in competitive situations and explain complex products clearly. You’re equally comfortable working with customers and internal stakeholders, excited to become a product expert, and willing to share what you learn. You’re organised, analytical, and proactive, with a track record of improving the processes and teams around you.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue, increase product adoption, and acquire new customers across APAC, excluding Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on small and medium-sized businesses, startups, and digital-native businesses.

  • Build and execute a territory plan, leading outbound efforts to develop a strong, qualified pipeline for Issuing and Treasury.

  • Build relationships with executive stakeholders and lead commercial and product discussions with existing and prospective customers, including in Mandarin.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, buying processes, and the competitive landscape across your territory.

  • Serve as an internal and customer-facing expert on Stripe’s Issuing and Treasury products, providing product sales enablement to support APAC AEs.

  • Share customer feedback and regional market insights with Product and Engineering to inform Stripe’s product roadmap.

  • Develop go-to-market playbooks with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Technical Services.

  • Work across teams to shape solutions that address customer needs, aligning commercial opportunities with product capabilities and market availability.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you’re encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 6+ years of customer-facing sales experience at a leading technology or payments company, with a track record of strong performance.

  • Professional proficiency in spoken Mandarin, sufficient to lead customer discovery, product discussions, and commercial negotiations with Mandarin-speaking customers across the region.

  • Experience building trusted adviser relationships with senior business leaders.

  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners.

  • A self motivated go-getter, capable of operating independently to drive meaningful business results

  • Enthusiastic “roll up your sleeves” mentality

  • Ability to understand complex technical requirements and develop solutions with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience leading complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.

  • A collaborative approach and willingness to share expertise and support colleagues.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and changing requirements

  • Fastidious approach to CRM hygiene and experience utilizing thorough sales forecasting metrics on a weekly/quarterly basis and communicating them in a succinct manner

  • 5+ years of experience selling payments or banking solutions.
