The team partners closely with Engineering and with other risk disciplines including Security, Compliance, Legal, and Operations.

Director, Support Operations

BettermentBetterment HQ - New York City
Full-timeNot specifiedJul 1, 2026

About Betterment

Betterment is a leading, technology-driven financial services company that offers investing, savings and retirement solutions for retail investors and investment advisors as well as financial wellness solutions, including a 401(k) for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team is passionate about our mission, to empower people to build wealth with confidence and ease.  We’re headquartered in NYC and offer hybrid NY-based positions (four days/ week in-office, with no required office days during the summer and winter holidays).

About the Role

Betterment's Support organization touches every customer, every advisor, and nearly every team in the company — and this role owns it. As Director of Support, you'll lead a team of managers and specialists across retail CX, advisor support (BAS), and support operations, while managing two global BPO partnerships and a multimillion-dollar budget. You'll set the quality bar, own the delivery model, and drive the organization forward — not reactively, but ahead of what's coming.

This is a role for someone with high standards, deep operational expertise, and the kind of ownership mentality that doesn't wait to be asked. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Fraud, Legal & Compliance, and Investing, and report directly to the VP of Support & Operations.

This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

  • New York City: $155,000-$185,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead and develop a team of managers across three functions: retail CX complex case resolution and high value customer support, advisor support for our BAS product line, and support operations (product/eng liaison, VoC, and launch readiness).
  • Own two BPO partnerships end-to-end — contract management, SLA accountability, quality programs, and day-to-day performance.
  • Manage the Support budget with rigor: own forecasting, capacity planning, and cost decisions across internal and BPO channels.
  • Set and hold a high quality bar across all channels, using data to identify gaps and drive measurable improvement.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for complex cases requiring coordination across Legal, Compliance, Fraud, Engineering, or executive stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure support teams are prepared for product launches, regulatory changes, and operational shifts — and that customer signals inform what we build.
  • Identify what's broken, build the case for change, and own outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in CX or support leadership, with a track record of scaling teams and raising the bar on quality and performance.
  • Proven experience managing global BPO relationships, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance accountability.
  • Financial acumen — you've owned a multimillion-dollar budget and made resource allocation decisions under pressure.
  • Strong forecasting and capacity planning capabilities; you build models that translate into real operational decisions.
  • Deeply analytical and data-driven — you define success with metrics, track outcomes rigorously, and use data to make decisions and build the case for change.
  • High accountability and ownership — you drive things forward, follow through, and expect the same from your team.
  • Excellent judgment and communication; you navigate complex, sensitive situations and present clearly to audiences from frontline agents to the C-suite.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or comparable support platforms; QA tooling and VoC platforms a plus.

Senior Content Associate, Lifecycle Marketing

BettermentBetterment HQ - New York City
Full-timeNot specifiedJul 1, 2026

About Betterment

Betterment is a leading, technology-driven financial services company that offers investing, savings, and retirement solutions for retail investors and investment advisors, as well as financial wellness solutions, including a 401(k) for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team is passionate about our mission, to empower people to build wealth with confidence and ease. We’re headquartered in NYC and offer hybrid NY-based positions (four days / week in-office, with no required office days during the summer and winter holidays).

About the Role:

As a Senior Content Associate, you’ll start every project with a deep understanding of insights: customer personas, needs, behaviors, data. With this foundation, you'll write, edit, and shape high-impact content across our customer lifecycle channels: email, content cards, push, in-app, social, and more. You'll also contribute editorial and social content to our blog and owned channels, with an eye toward visibility in AI-driven discovery (AEO/GEO).

You're a strong writer, but you're also a brand expert and a sharp editor. The judgment you bring to your work is the job. Reporting to the Senior Director, Content and Narrative Strategy, you’ll be at the forefront of using AI tools — including custom, in-house agents — to scale your output. Not slop (never slop!) but customer-centric, brand-fluent messaging that helps drive engagement and results.

This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

  • New York City: $94,500 - $110,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life:

  • Produce lifecycle and customer marketing content in close collaboration with product marketing, CRM, social, design, comms, and compliance. Your campaigns will be driven by specific audience segments and the products that fit them.
  • Develop content at scale, bringing brand voice, editorial judgment, and an eye for compliance to every output, while using AI as a force multiplier.
  • Build scalable systems (ex: copy banks, variant libraries, templates) that improve speed and consistency.
  • Write editorial and social content for our owned channels, specifically structured for AEO/GEO citability.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our AI workflows, flagging where our custom agents, tools, and processes can be improved and working to build new solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, lifecycle marketing, or editorial, with a degree in marketing, PR, English, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong editorial instincts: You understand the nuances of language and why every word, in its particular place, matters. You can pick up a brand voice and flex it for different audiences. Your work is equally as compelling as it is compliant, and you are comfortable working within a regulated industry.
  • Cross-functional thinking: You’re a marketer, a brand strategist, a writer, and an editor. You can take insights and turn them into high-impact marketing.
  • Fluency with AI writing tools: You already use them, and you have opinions about when they help and when they don’t.
  • Working knowledge of AEO/GEO: You’re an early adopter of the new world of LLM discoverability, and you’re comfortable reviewing analytics and writing with performance in mind.
  • Drive: You can handle multiple projects at once and have the initiative to see them forward in collaboration with various partners.
  • Experience in or passion for financial services: You understand personal finance products, their purposes, and their benefits, and you can make them feel accessible to anyone.

  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies; collaborate to shape press strategy, identify and prioritize opportunities, and brief them on launches, company news and proactive storylines.
  • Lead media relations, expanding relationships with top-tier reporters, driving PR campaigns and product launches, and identifying earned media opportunities.
  • Craft and quality-control press releases, talking points, bylines, and media responses; ensure tone, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and Product on product launches, brand campaigns and social media amplification.

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineering Manager leading the Betterment Security team’s Application Security squad, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams across the company as your squad helps developers build secure software by default. Your team shapes how Betterment threat models new systems, reviews designs, manages vulnerabilities, and equips engineers with the tools, libraries, and guardrails that make the secure path the easy path.

You’ll work with team and company leadership to develop and drive a mission-aligned roadmap and manage its execution with your team. You’ll also partner with engineers on your team and beyond to identify and advocate for the work that will most meaningfully reduce risk to Betterment and our customers. You’ll play a crucial role in balancing proactive security investments alongside response and remediation, all while helping mentor and grow a team of amazing engineers.

At Betterment, security is foundational to the trust our customers place in us with their financial lives. Our Application Security squad empowers and enables the entire engineering organization and works closely with product and platform teams to deliver controls, tooling, and partnerships that let us deliver value to Betterment’s customers and clients without compromising on safety. Members of this team have a love for solving interesting security challenges and improving the lives of our developers in ways that move our engineering organization and the business forward. You’ll be a part of a team that’s tackling difficult questions of secure design at scale in a deeply regulated industry where the stakes are real.

This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

  • New York City: $210,000-250,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life:

  • Oversee the development of paved roads, libraries, and guardrails that make it easier for our developers to commit, test, build, deploy, and operate code securely by default.
  • Build and maintain the threat modeling, design review, and vulnerability management programs that protect our customers, our employees, and the business.
  • Drive the adoption of AI across AppSec operations to achieve scaled security workflows, creating leverage for senior engineers.
  • Lead and mentor engineers on Betterment’s senior-leaning AppSec squad.
  • Establish strong lines of communication with stakeholders across engineering, product, legal, compliance, and risk to understand and deeply support the needs of teams building products across all business lines and divisions of Betterment.
  • Inspire and maintain a strong, equitable engineering culture founded on transparency, inclusivity, mentorship, and collaboration.
  • Continuously innovate and seek out ways to meet the near- and long-term strategic security needs of our complex org.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Expertise across the application security stack: secure SDLC, threat modeling, secure design review, code review, vulnerability management, and the cloud-native ecosystem (AWS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
  • Experience with hands-on managing, mentoring, and inspiring a team of talented security engineers, including senior engineers. Demonstrated success as a true player-coach is a must.
  • Experience establishing or scaling a Security Champions or distributed threat modeling program, with a focus on empowering engineering squads to own security outcomes and integrating these practices into the existing software development lifecycle.
  • Experience leading execution of large team initiatives and execution of smaller concurrent projects in partnership with senior engineers.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted security tools and a curiosity for exploring how AI can enhance both security workflows and the security posture of the AI-powered features our engineers are building.
  • A real passion for application security and for empowering developers to do the right thing easily.
  • Experience collaborating with other engineering teams, product managers, subject matter experts, and non-technical stakeholders such as legal, compliance, and risk.

Product Manager, User Trust

User Trust is central to the security, reliability, and integrity of Betterment's financial products and the customers who depend on them. We design risk and identity measures, determine when and how to introduce controls in key customer journeys (signup, login, funding, withdrawals), and build the tooling that helps Customer Experience and Operations teams keep 1M+ customers safe while without compromising the quality of their investing and cash experience.

As the Product Manager for User Trust, you'll own the roadmap that ties our controls and tooling together, define how we assess risk and introduce (or remove) verification interventions across the customer journey, and set clear measures of impact across risk reduction, customer experience, and regulatory expectations.

You'll navigate multiple concurrent projects from definition through launch, moving fluidly between strategy and implementation details — working closely with Engineering, Operations, Security, Compliance, Legal, CX, and other product teams to make our platform more resilient and trustworthy over time.

This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

  • New York City: $121,000-143,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life

  • Own the product roadmap across identity verification, authentication, device risk, behavioral signals, and account security for Betterment’s retail investing and cash products.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase security and integrity while minimizing friction in signup, funding, withdrawals, login, and sensitive profile changes.
  • Partner with Operations, Security Engineering, Customer Experience, and Compliance to design, implement, and iterate on KYC/KYB, 2FA, risk scoring, transaction monitoring, and case management controls.
  • Work closely with engineering to define solutions and tradeoffs, while actively questioning assumptions and default approaches before converging on an implementation.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery with design, engineering, analytics, and operations from problem definition through discovery, specs, launch, and iteration.
  • Run experiments and tests to calibrate trust controls, including where to require additional verification, how to tune thresholds, and how to communicate risk decisions.
  • Define and track success metrics that balance platform integrity with customer experience, including financial risk, login success rates, and conversion.
  • Build deep insight into customers and internal operators through research, risk and incident reviews, CX shadowing, and market and competitive analysis.

What We’re Looking For

  • Product management experience building products in fintech, financial services, or other regulated / risk-heavy domains (e.g., payments, security, marketplaces).
  • Strong analytical and data-informed decision-making skills, comfortable using metrics, experiments, and qualitative inputs (CX tickets, risk case data, user research) to set direction.
  • Ability to balance fraud/risk reduction with customer experience and growth, and clearly communicate the tradeoffs you’re making.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional work with engineering, design, CX, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Security to ship complex features.
  • Comfort with concepts like KYC/AML, identity verification, authentication, ACH and card risk, account takeover, and device intelligence (or a demonstrated ability to ramp quickly).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills; able to create clear specs and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong sense of ownership and a track record of driving work forward in ambiguous environments while maintaining a high bar for quality and customer trust.

Sr. Security Engineer, Corporate Information Security

We're headquartered in NYC and offer hybrid NY-based positions (four days/week in-office, with no required office days during the summer and winter holidays).

About the Role

Betterment is hiring a Sr. Security Engineer, Corporate Information Security to be a principal member of the Workforce Security team. We're responsible for managing identity and logical access across the company, owning change management for the systems employees and contractors rely on every day, and operating the technologies that secure them: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Glean, Jamf, and the SaaS portfolio that surrounds them. As we extend centralized management to a small Windows and Linux footprint, you'll help shape how we do that securely from day one.

This is a hands-on senior IC role focused on designing, implementing, and continuously improving identity architecture, privileged access controls, endpoint hardening standards, and our overall workforce security posture. You'll embed secure access patterns across SaaS, managed browser, mobile, and workstation environments partnering closely with other Security teams, IT, Legal, Compliance, and the business units we serve.

In parallel, you'll partner with our AI Governance & enablement team to evaluate, enable, and secure the use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Glean Assistant, and the agentic tooling that's coming next) establishing practical guardrails that let employees move quickly without compromising data or systems.

This role is based out of our NYC office. Below we've reflected the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

  • New York City: $165,000-185,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A Day in the Life

Your weeks blend strategic architecture, hands-on implementation, and operational support:

  • Identity & Access Architecture: Define and evolve the workforce IAM roadmap. Architect identity patterns across Okta and our SaaS estate SSO at scale, RBAC that holds up under growth, and lifecycle automation that reaches every downstream system from HRIS through joiner/mover/leaver. Build a sustainable Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) practice, including User Access Review campaigns that produce real evidence rather than rubber stamps.
  • Security Design: Lead initiatives across authentication, authorization, federation, and privileged access. Design time-bound, just-in-time, and break-glass patterns (PIM-equivalent) for high-risk roles so standing privilege trends toward zero. Govern non-human identities, service accounts, API tokens, OAuth integrations, and the AI agents that increasingly act on users' behalf. Embed Zero Trust and least-privilege principles into every workforce system you touch.
  • Securing & Monitoring Corporate Communications: Manage the security of corporate communication platforms, including email and Slack, through tools such as Abnormal Security and Proofpoint. Responsibilities include DLP enforcement to protect PII and conducting email investigations for spam, phishing and other threats.
  • Endpoint, Mobile & Browser Security: Define and enforce hardening standards aligned with CIS benchmarks. Own configuration baselines for macOS, Windows, and Linux Desktops, with mobile and managed browser controls layered on top. Architect enterprise browser security, extension governance, session protection, and DLP at the browser layer.
  • Vulnerability & Posture Management: Lead the workforce vulnerability management program for endpoints and corporate SaaS. Design remediation SLAs by severity and asset class, run remediation campaigns that actually close findings, and partner with IT Systems to surface and fix identity and configuration misconfigurations. Operate SaaS posture tooling (e.g., Wiz, Vanta,  Drata, or peers) as the connective tissue across our SaaS estate.
  • AI Tool Security: Establish and enforce a secure architecture for AI tool usage, data handling boundaries, connector security, identity-aware access controls, and detection for misuse with a bias toward enabling the business safely rather than gating it.
  • Governance & Operations: Run UAR campaigns end-to-end, drive remediation of audit findings (SOC 2, ISO 27001), and partner with our MDR MSP and internal teams to mature identity-related detection and incident response. Augment and assist with cross-functional GRC capabilities

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 6+ years in security engineering with deep experience in IAM and corporate security, ideally with time in a regulated environment.
  • IAM depth: Strong command of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, LDAP), enterprise IAM platforms (Okta and Entra ID), RBAC design, and lifecycle automation. Comfortable with Identity Center / SSO patterns at scale and PIM-equivalent / break-glass models for privileged access.
  • Endpoint, mobile & browser: Familiarity with endpoint management and EDR; an opinion on operationalizing CIS benchmarks across macOS and Windows without crushing the user experience; comfort extending security to mobile and managed browser surfaces.
  • Vulnerability & posture: Experience designing remediation SLAs, running remediation campaigns to actual closure, and operating SaaS posture tooling (Wiz, Vanta, Drata, or peers).
  • Automation mindset: Comfortable building tools and pipelines, not just configuring them; Python, Go, or similar with a track record of automation that survives the person who built it.
  • AI fluency: Curiosity for AI tools and workflows; an instinct for enabling responsibly rather than reflexively blocking.
  • Communication: Strong writing — RFCs, one-pagers, audit narratives — and the cross-functional patience to bring stakeholders along.
  • Compliance posture: Comfort operating in SOC 2 and ISO 27001/NIST environments, balancing risk reduction with business enablement.
  • Enterprise network: Experience with network monitoring & alerting, perimeter blocking, intelligence gathering/sharing, and other network related security controls (ZTNA); building/testing ACLs, firewall rules, cryptography, VPNs and tunneling/encapsulation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Privileged Access Management (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea), Identity Governance & Administration (Saviynt, SailPoint, ConductorOne, Lumos), or modern secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, Doppler).
  • Real-world Zero Trust implementation experience, not as a slide.
  • Working knowledge of policy-as-code (OPA / Rego) or similar.
  • Experience partnering with an MDR / managed SOC and shaping their detection content.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP or vendor IAM certifications.

A Day in the Life:

  • Act as a consultative partner to key B2B stakeholders by helping frame problems, identifying patterns, risks, and opportunities across systems, data workflows, and recommending pragmatic scalable solutions

  • Serve as a system administrator and provide day-to-day support for Salesforce and related business systems, such as user access, account maintenance, reports, workflows, and permissions
  • Continuously develop your skills and domain knowledge through self-directed learning, training, and industry resources, applying new insights to improve systems and ways of working.

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce administration: managing user profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings; customizing and configuring Salesforce objects, fields, layouts, workflows, and reports; and utilizing Salesforce declarative development tools such as Flow and Lightning App Builder
  • Experience owning business systems in B2B/SaaS organizations, with a focus on supporting GTM teams and processes

CX Automation Performance Analyst

BettermentRemote
Full-timeNot specifiedJul 1, 2026

About Betterment

Betterment is a leading, technology-driven financial services company that offers investing, savings and retirement solutions for retail investors and investment advisors as well as financial wellness solutions, including a 401(k) for small and medium-sized businesses. Our team is passionate about our mission, to empower people to build wealth with confidence and ease.

About the role

The CX Tooling & Innovation team at Betterment is responsible for the systems, AI programs, and automation that power our customer experience. Shipping AI is only half the job — keeping it performing is the other half.

As our CX Automation Performance Analyst, you own the post-launch life of our AI programs. You ensure that what gets launched keeps working, keeps improving, and is well-documented enough that the whole organization can benefit from it.

You'll serve as the primary administrator of net-new AI tooling (VoiceAI, Zendesk AI agents, and others) after launch, owning ongoing configuration, optimization, and performance management. This includes tuning AI agent behavior, updating knowledge sources, adjusting conversation flows, managing prompt configurations, and validating output quality on an ongoing basis.

In your first year, we expect every live AI program to have a performance dashboard with clear KPIs and a regular review cadence, an active optimization backlog producing measurable gains quarter over quarter, complete and current AI documentation being actively used across the organization, and no AI program drifting quietly — degradation is caught early and addressed with a clear plan.

This is a salaried, exempt role that is remote eligible, except for the New York City metro area, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Washington, D.C., & Orange County, CA. Below we've reflected the base salary range we would offer for this position in locations with city or state requirements. For those located elsewhere, the actual compensation offered will be based on candidate experience and geographic location. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees.

Posting range: $110,000 - $140,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A day in the life

  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking performance across all live AI programs — automation rate, containment, AHT, CSAT, and model quality metrics — using tools like Zendesk Explore, Looker, or similar
  • Identify performance degradation, intent gaps, hallucination, model drift, and guardrail failures across Zendesk AI, chatbots, ticketbots, and automation workflows
  • Own the incident response process for AI quality issues — when performance degrades or a guardrail fails, you triage, escalate, and drive resolution with a clear post-mortem
  • Serve as the primary admin for net-new AI tooling post-launch — including VoiceAI platforms, Zendesk AI agents, and any other tools handed off from the implementation phase
  • Maintain active optimization backlogs for launched programs, ensuring improvements don't stall after initial implementation
  • Drive post-launch iteration in partnership with the Chatbot Strategy Manager and tooling teams, tracking outcomes rigorously
  • Own the AI program documentation library: runbooks, flow documentation, QA procedures, training guides, and internal knowledge base articles
  • Maintain accurate records of AI program behavior, guardrails, and change history to support compliance and audit readiness
  • Partner with the CX AI & Automation Manager during launch phases to establish performance baselines, define QA criteria, and ensure clean handoff documentation
  • Build feedback loops from AI performance data to inform product, engineering, and CX leadership decisions — your insights should shape what gets built next, not just what gets fixed

What We're looking for

  • Hands-on experience analyzing performance data from AI or automation tools in a support environment
  • Understanding of common AI failure modes — hallucination, model drift, guardrail gaps, and intent misclassification — and the ability to design QA processes that catch them before they reach customers
  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Zendesk Explore, Looker, Tableau, or similar) and comfortable writing queries to validate AI performance data
  • Strong documentation skills — you write clearly, organize well, and build resources people actually use
  • Analytical and detail-oriented: comfortable building dashboards, running QA analysis, and spotting patterns in messy data
  • Experience with Zendesk (or comparable CX platforms) and AI tools such as Zendesk AI, Decagon, or similar
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry where AI outputs are subject to compliance review and audit
  • A continuous improvement mindset and systems thinker — you see how knowledge structure, prompt design, monitoring, and feedback loops connect, and you're never satisfied with "it launched"

Sr. CX Programs & Automation Manager

About the role

The CX Tooling & Innovation team at Betterment is building the future of customer experience — and this role is the engine of that work.

As our Sr. CX Programs & Automation Manager, you'll own the full lifecycle of net-new AI initiatives across our customer support and operations ecosystem: from identifying the opportunity, building the business case, and driving implementation, through to launch and handoff.

This is a dedicated AI delivery role within our AI & Automation pod. You will not own BAU Zendesk maintenance or queue management. Your job is to ship AI that makes our customers' experience better and our agents' work more effective — and to do it with rigor, speed, and measurable outcomes. Your north star metrics: automation rate, AHT reduction, agent productivity, and customer satisfaction — every initiative you ship should move at least one of these.

Posting range: $130,000 - $160,000

This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.

A day in the life

  • Build and maintain a multi-quarter AI roadmap aligned to CX/Ops OKRs — automation rate, AHT reduction, agent productivity, and coverage — and own prioritization, sequencing, and business case development for each initiative
  • Translate CX and Ops pain points into structured AI use cases with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and implementation plans
  • Lead delivery in partnership with the Chatbot Strategy Manager, Sr. Manager of Tooling, Analytics, and Engineering
  • Drive agent adoption of AI tools (copilot, smart suggestions, AI summaries, auto-tagging) through change management and training
  • Design and run experiments and A/B tests to validate AI performance before scaling
  • Establish performance baselines and handoff documentation before transitioning live programs to the Sr. Analyst, AI Quality & Continuity
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Security to ensure responsible, policy-compliant AI deployment
  • Represent CX AI priorities in cross-functional planning and vendor discussions

What we're looking for

  • 7–10+ years in CX operations, support product management, or technical program management
  • Hands-on experience launching AI or automation in support environments — Zendesk AI, Intercom Fin, Decagon, or similar
  • Strong product thinking: you can take an ambiguous problem, define a clear use case, and build the case for prioritization
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with experiment design, interpreting A/B results, and building performance baselines
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator — you've worked with Engineering, Analytics, Legal, and frontline ops teams to ship AI features
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with AI and SaaS tooling — you're not just managing from a distance; you can configure, build, and iterate within platforms like Zendesk AI, Decagon, or similar without needing engineering support for every change
  • Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent initiatives

What success looks like in year one

  • A clear, prioritized AI roadmap is in place and being actively executed against
  • At least two net-new AI initiatives have launched with defined KPIs and clean handoffs to the quality team
  • Ticket deflection and automation rates show measurable improvement attributable to your work
  • A governance and experimentation framework is in place so future rollouts move faster and more safely
