Your impact

Partnerships are at the core of how Mollie goes to market. The partners you manage directly enable new products, new markets, and better experiences for hundreds of thousands of businesses across Europe.

As Team Lead, Commercial Partnerships UK, you are the strategic lead for our UK&I Channel Partners. You’ll lead a high-impact team of three, blending people leadership with hands-on commercial execution. This is a high-velocity environment where you’ll identify key partners, grow our ecosystem engagement, and maintain the momentum that keeps Mollie ahead. This is a role with real ownership and real visibility. As Team Lead Commercial Partnerships, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders and help build a partnership function that's built to last.

What you'll ship

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing partner sales team of 3, with clear priorities, strong execution, and individual growth
  • Own and strengthen relationships with partners across UK&I, including managing stakeholders, negotiations, and escalations with confidence
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing leadership to build the strategy for merchant acquisition via Partners for the UK market, demonstrating solid commercial acumen, clear business judgment, and an awareness for the whitespace opportunities
  • Maintain team momentum and continuity across key commercial priorities during a critical period of growth for Mollie, as we complete our integration of GoCardless
  • Being accountable for creating pipeline, owning a partner marketing budget to acquire new partners and activate existing partners

What you'll bring

  • 2–4+ years of people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and developing team members
  • Proven experience managing partners to drive commercial success, with strong stakeholder management in an international setting
  • A background in financial services, payments, fintech, or ecommerce: you understand the environment and can hit the ground running
  • Commercial negotiation experience, including preparing business cases, deal review materials, and approval documentation for senior sign-off
  • Strong analytical capability, comfortable working with net revenue projections, driving a performance culture and a holding team accountable to targets

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.
