5+ years of backend engineering experience, proven work building APIs or developer‑facing platforms, a strong sense of developer experience, and daily hands‑on use of AI coding agents and related orchestration tools.
The API drives a large portion of Ramp’s revenue and enables companies to embed financial infrastructure across billions of dollars of spend, directly impacting the core mission of automating and optimizing business finances.

About the Role
Ramp's Dev API team builds the programmatic surfaces that let developers and AI agents read from and write to Ramp. We are an AI-focused platform team making it trivially easy for any engineer at Ramp (or outside it) to ship new capabilities across all surfaces. Our ideal candidate thinks agent-first, has strong opinions on developer experience, and wants to define how software interacts with financial infrastructure at scale.
