About this role

Company Description

We’re Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.

We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.

Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.

If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.

The Sr Specialist, Enterprise Ramp Management converts complex, enterprise deals into live, revenue-generating merchants through a disciplined, end-to-end launch process. The role owns the journey from merchant commitment through successful go-live, early ramp, and transition to Account Management and Technical Account Management teams. The role builds a bridge between Sales and Account Management and sets a foundation for long-term growth with Checkout.com.

What you'll do

  • Own the transition from merchant commitment through launch: Confirm scope, commitments, stakeholders, dependencies, and target dates, then turn them into an executable launch plan.
  • Run the integrated delivery plan: Establish milestones, owners, meeting cadence, decision records, risk and issue tracking, dependency management, and escalation paths across the company and the merchant.
  • Lead client governance: Run project kickoffs, working sessions, and status reviews. Circulate agendas and decisions, track actions with owners and due dates, and maintain a clear record of what is complete, next, blocked, or awaiting a decision.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recovery options: Provide concise and regular updates on accomplishments, upcoming work, blockers, risks, decisions required, and the impact of any change to the plan.
  • Drive launch readiness: Coordinate technical, operational, commercial, and customer readiness criteria. Lead the launch decision, cutover planning, and the initial support period after launch
  • Deliver a clean transition to the account team: Transfer implementation status, performance baseline, stakeholder map, open risks, operating model, growth opportunities, and every remaining action with a named owner and due date.

Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise project or program management, ideally in payments, fintech, or complex B2B SaaS implementations.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-workstream customer launches across technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong project governance skills, including critical-path management, risk and dependency tracking, scope control, executive communication, and escalation management.
  • Coordinate with technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical actions
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on time-to-revenue, customer value, and long-term account potential.
  • Effective at building customer trust, and coordinating teams across functions, geographies, and time zones.
  • Passionate about building repeatable playbooks, and energized by refining and improving processes, as this is a new merchant-facing role.
