What you'll own

Own the roadmap and delivery of fincrime controls and investigator tooling for Wise Platform, shaping product vision, prioritising features, and iterating improvements based on data and stakeholder input.

What they're looking for

A senior product manager with proven experience delivering outcomes in complex, cross‑functional environments, strong problem‑framing and prioritisation skills, and the ability to communicate with technical and senior non‑technical partners; fintech or financial crime exposure is a plus.

Why this role matters

The role safeguards Wise Platform’s growth by reducing fraud, AML, and screening risk for partner integrations, ensuring safe, scalable operations and a consistent partner experience across the business.

Best suited to

Candidates who thrive on turning ambiguous risk problems into clear product plans, enjoy iterative delivery with measurable impact, and have a background in platform or B2B products, especially with some familiarity with financial crime or internal tooling.

About this role

Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world's money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Wise Platform helps banks, software companies, and large enterprises leverage Wise's infrastructure to offer their customers world-class payments products through their own channels. Our partners make up some of the world's biggest banks and online platforms, such as Monzo, N26, and Google. Wise Platform is a start-up within a scale-up. We're based across the world - from New York to London, Singapore, and beyond.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help build and scale a new fincrime product engineering team. You’ll own the vision and roadmap for partner-specific financial crime controls across fraud, AML, screening, and internal tooling. You’ll work closely with engineering, compliance, operations, partner experience and commercial teams to reduce risk and help Wise Platform scale safely.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the roadmap for Wise Platform fincrime controls and investigator tooling, balancing risk mitigation, operational load, and partner experience.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery across engineering, compliance, operations and partner teams. Turn problems into clear plans and ship improvements iteratively.
  • Develop deep domain understanding of Wise Platform partner models and how fincrime risks present differently in embedded/correspondent-like use cases versus consumer/business.
  • Improve UX and user experience of internal tools and workflows used to review alerts/cases, making investigations faster, safer, and more consistent.
  • Use data to drive decisions. Define success metrics, monitor effectiveness (and false positives/ops impact), and continuously tune what we ship.
  • Represent Wise Platform across Wise, ensuring alignment with broader control changes and building strong stakeholder relationships with other teams in fincrime domains.

What they're looking for

What we’re looking for

  • Product management experience delivering meaningful outcomes in a cross-functional, operationally complex environment.
  • Strong problem framing and prioritisation skills: you can take ambiguous risk/tooling issues and turn them into clear scope, milestones and trade-offs.
  • Comfort working with technical and non-technical partners, and ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
  • A delivery mindset: you can ship iteratively, measure impact, and adapt quickly.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to financial crime domains (AML, transaction monitoring, fraud, screening, investigations), fintech risk, or internal tooling/case management products.
  • Experience working on platform products / B2B integrations where partner impact and operational scalability are key considerations.

Additional Information

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and stock options package.
  • Flexible working policies and "Me Days" / "Mission Days".
  • Sabbatical leave after 4 years of service.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits.

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.

Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
