What you'll own

Own the global partner marketing plan, creating always‑on campaigns, co‑marketing playbooks, newsletters and webinars, and expanding resources on the Partner Portal.

What they're looking for

3+ years in partner, demand‑gen or growth marketing, strong communication, project‑management and data‑driven skills, plus experience with Salesforce or similar tools and a B2B fintech background.

Why this role matters

The role scales GoCardless’s fast‑growing Partner Programme by turning ad‑hoc marketing requests into repeatable, self‑service assets that drive partner‑sourced pipeline and merchant activation.

Best suited to

A mid‑level marketer who enjoys building reusable assets for many partners, thrives on cross‑functional collaboration, and can juggle multiple programmes while measuring impact.

About this role

About us

GoCardless is a global bank payment company. Over 100,000 businesses, from start-ups to household names, use GoCardless to collect, manage and send bank payments through Direct Debit, real-time payments and open banking. With US$130bn+ processed annually across 30+ countries, we handle recurring and one-off payments without the chasing, stress, or expensive fees. Our end-to-end payment platform also features AI-powered solutions to improve payment success and reduce fraud, alongside connections to over 350 platforms businesses use everyday.

We are headquartered in the UK, with teams and operations spanning North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

The role

GoCardless has a fast-growing Partner Programme — hundreds of technology, referral and reseller partners worldwide that don’t have a direct Partner Account Manager at GoCardless. Marketing to them today is mostly manual and one-off. We want someone to fix that.

You’ll expand our resources on the Partner Portal, building the campaigns, content and playbooks that let partners market GoCardless to their own customers without needing bespoke support every time, and you’ll run the newsletters and webinars that keep the wider partner base engaged. You’ll report to Freya Steveni (Partner Marketing Manager) in Commercial Demand Generation, working closely with our Partner Programme Manager and partner marketing leads in the UK&I, North America and France.

It’s a global remit, based in Leeds, with plenty of room to make it your own.

What excites you

  • Build and own the global marketing plan for our Partner Programme.
  • Design always-on campaigns partners can pick up and run themselves — email, co-branded content, digital.
  • Build the co-marketing playbooks and assets our regional teams reuse and localise.
  • Run partner comms and engagement — newsletters, webinars, the touchpoints that keep partners informed and active.
  • Turn one-off partner marketing requests into repeatable programmes, working with our Partner Account teams.
  • Support the Partner Events Manager on cross-partner events, from on-site support, to providing marketing assets and data upload.
  • Track what’s working — sign-ups, partner-sourced pipeline, merchant activation and retention.

What excites us

  • 3+ years in partner marketing, demand gen, or lifecycle/growth marketing — this is your second or third marketing role, not a senior hire.
  • You’d rather build something hundreds of partners can use than run one perfect campaign for one partner.
  • A natural communicator — you can write a newsletter people read and engage with, and design a webinar people stay on, in your own voice.
  • Comfortable across the marketing mix: campaigns, content, email, events.
  • A sharp project manager who can juggle multiple programmes without dropping any, who is skilled at prioritising and maintaining project documents.
  • Commercially minded and data-driven — you know what good looks like and can prove it.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with stakeholders from individual contributors to senior management
  • Experience with Salesforce, Crossbeam or Impartner (or similar).
  • Background in B2B fintech, payments or tech preferred.
  • Time spent working with a partner or affiliate programme at scale, or executing on direct lifecycle campaigns.

Base salary range: £38,000 - £57,000

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
