As an Operational Resilience Manager for Monzo Bank Limited (MBL), you will focus on the day-to-day coordination, execution, and operational maintenance of our resilience requirements and artefacts within the UK.

  • Monitoring Impact Tolerances: Supporting the monitoring and tracking of Monzo's Impact Tolerances, collecting metrics, and flagging potential breaches to key local stakeholders and global owners.

  • Scenario Testing: Supporting the execution of Monzo's entity-specific scenario tests for severe but plausible disruptions, and coordinating Monzo's participation in wider, multi-entity global stress tests.

  • Supporting ICAAP & Risk Assessments: Coordinating operational inputs into Monzo's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), mapping operational disruption scenarios to capital/liquidity implications and supporting stress testing models.

  • Governance Committee Support: Supporting the operation of the Global Operational Resilience Forum and providing inputs into Monzo's Risk Committees through data-driven operational resilience updates.

  • Policy Operationalisation & Compliance: Assisting Monzo business areas with the practical application of global resilience & continuity and incident management policies.

🤩 We’d love to hear from you if you have …

  • A strong practical understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (PRA/FCA operational resilience rules) and familiarity with ICAAP operational risk components.
  • Hands-on experience executing dependency mapping, updating business continuity plans, and supporting scenario tests alongside cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to embedding a resilience culture, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and risk committees.
  • High attention to detail and a hands-on approach to tracking operational metrics, actions, and regulatory deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
