What you'll own

Own the post‑sales integration phase for Mollie's largest and most complex deals, from handover through testing to go‑live, including running kickoffs, tracking testing, raising issues, and maintaining documentation.

What they're looking for

Up to 3 years of ecommerce or payments experience, fluency in German and English, strong project‑management and organisational skills, genuine technical interest (e.g., APIs), an ownership mindset and open, trustworthy communication.

Why this role matters

The role safeguards revenue by keeping go‑live dates on track and enables Mollie to scale delivery of its biggest deals through a structured, repeatable integration process.

Best suited to

A proactive, detail‑oriented collaborator who enjoys coordinating across sales, product, engineering and merchants, thrives on solving technical edge cases, and takes charge of complex implementation projects.

About this role

Build with us

Businesses deserve better from finance. Less friction, more freedom. Since 2004, Mollie has been on a mission to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

Today, more than 250,000 companies trust our all-in-one platform to get paid, manage money and grow on their terms. Simple, scalable and built with real businesses in mind.

We're one of Europe's fastest-growing fintechs, with 950+ Mollies across 14+ locations. Our people make this growth possible. We move fast, build with purpose and care deeply about our customers. Whether you're solving problems, building market-leading products or exploring how AI can make work smarter, you'll have the freedom to create and the trust to deliver.

If you're ready to grow, shape the future of fintech and join an ambitious, high-performing team, this is the place for you.

Your impact

As Implementation Manager, you'll own the post-sales integration phase for Mollie's largest and most complex deals, guiding merchants from handover through testing to go live. You'll run kickoffs with internal and external stakeholders, set go live dates, keep progress on track, and coordinate testing and feedback along the way. You'll work closely with colleagues across sales, product and engineering, as well as with merchants directly, keeping everyone aligned as deals move toward launch.

This function is newly formed, so you'll have real influence over how the role and its processes take shape, bringing in your own experience rather than following a fixed playbook. The role is also more technical than it might first appear: you'll get close to the real world edge cases and issues that surface once a solution meets implementation reality, giving you hands on technical exposure without needing a payments or engineering background going in.

Your work protects revenue by keeping live dates on track, and it supports how Mollie scales delivery more broadly, building a structured, dedicated integration phase for its biggest deals. You'll report to Jan-Jaap van Helden.

What you'll ship

  • Own the post sales integration phase for Mollie's largest and most complex deals, from handover through testing to go live
  • Run kickoffs with internal and external stakeholders, setting go live dates and keeping progress on track
  • Organise and track testing, raising issues and feedback as they surface
  • Coordinate across sales, product and engineering colleagues, as well as with merchants directly, to keep everyone aligned
  • Keep agreed go live dates on track, since delays mean missed revenue
  • Maintain documentation and playbooks that make delivery predictable and scalable

What you'll bring

  • Up to 3 years of experience in ecommerce or payments, in a similar role
  • Fluent in German and English, since this role supports the German market and works directly with local merchants
  • Strong organisational and structuring skills, with solid project management ability
  • Genuine technical interest and the ability to understand technical concepts such as APIs, since this role gets close to the edge cases that surface once a solution meets reality
  • An ownership mindset, taking charge of the implementation process rather than reacting to it, while staying flexible within agreed roles and processes
  • Honest, open communication style with a genuine, trustworthy manner, including a strong track record collaborating with pre-sales teams and handling conflict at handover
  • Payments or ecommerce experience, or familiarity with the ecosystem, is a strong plus though not required

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.

Unlock your full potential and join us to eliminate financial bureaucracy

If you're excited by the idea of building what's next, for yourself and for thousands of businesses across Europe, we'd love to hear from you. Apply with your CV (in English) using the form below.
