5‑7+ years in credit risk, collections or recoveries analytics for consumer lending, strong analytical background with SQL/Python, experience designing data‑driven collections strategies, and excellent cross‑functional communication skills.

A data‑savvy analyst who loves turning credit performance data into actionable strategies, thrives in cross‑functional settings, and can navigate Canada’s complex regulatory landscape.
At Affirm, we exist for the moments that matter—giving people a clear, predictable way to pay over time, with no hidden fees, no surprises, and no tradeoffs on what matters most.
The Risk & Analytics team makes crucial decisions that direct Affirm’s business strategy. Our team designs and runs experiments to decide which product features to launch and which marketing campaigns to fund. We analyze performance not just to report on it, but to determine where to invest resources for maximum impact through building tools and analytical frameworks. We take ownership of the entire analytical lifecycle, from initial question to final business decision, ensuring Affirm grows efficiently and intelligently.
The Collections & Recoveries Analyst will own and drive the collections and recoveries strategy for Affirm Canada, spanning the full post-delinquency lifecycle from early-stage digital and outbound collections through third-party recovery-agency placement and post-charge-off recoveries, partnering closely with Product and Compliance to ensure collections and recoveries practices meet Canadian federal and provincial consumer protection, collections, and privacy requirements. The analyst will be responsible for owning and driving the collections and recoveries roadmap for the market, quantifying the impact of new collections and recovery initiatives, and monitoring downstream performance.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong analytical expertise with a deep understanding of consumer credit and collections behaviour, and the ability to improve recovery outcomes through data-driven insights, vendor management, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Come join us in our mission to change consumer finance through better data and technology, lower costs, and increased transparency while providing the best customer experience.
