What they're looking for

Penultimate‑year students (Bachelors or Masters) in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, STEM, Economics, Business or Finance who can code in SQL, Python or R and enjoy data visualisation and storytelling.

Why this role matters

Your analysis helps prioritize impactful changes for Wise’s global money‑transfer product, directly influencing real customer problems and the company’s mission to make international payments easier and cheaper.

Best suited to

Curious, proactive learners who thrive on feedback, enjoy collaborating across teams, and want a hands‑on internship with mentorship, flexible work arrangements, and a chance to make a tangible impact.

About this role

Company Description

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.

For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

The opportunity

As an Analytics Intern, you’ll join our Analytics team in the summer for 10 weeks in the summer (June 21 2027 to August 27 2027). You’ll be onboarded with the global internship cohort in one of our offices and learn the basics of being a Wiser, as well as understand how analytics work here.

During this time, you will work on 1-2 Analytical projects and use them to propose your own ideas to take your team further, doing what’s best for our customers.

In this role, you will

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to shape and build our product
  • Carry out data analysis using various statistical methods and tools to help us prioritise the most significant changes. All with the help of other senior analysts that will support you during your journey
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders in the team and have the opportunity to share your ideas, working on projects that will be the most impactful for our customers

Growth and Development

At Wise, we believe in continuous learning and development. You will have access to:

  • Mentorship / buddy programme: We’ve a Buddy Programme for you to give you as much possible connection with people who know what you’re going through.
  • Intern Insights Sessions: Our bi-weekly Intern Insights sessions are a core part of your intern experience, designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the diverse functions and career paths within Wise.

What they're looking for

What you’ll bring

  • You are a penultimate year student from a Bachelors or Masters degree potentially in Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, STEM or Economics/Business/Finance. However, a degree in a technical field is not a must as our selection process prioritises your skills.
  • You are able to start a 10 weeks internship from 22nd June 2027
  • You enjoy using numbers and data visualisation to tell a story
  • You used coding to solve problems before (SQL, Python, R). That could be during your studies or as part of a personal project you’re passionate about
  • You’re curious, keen to learn and proactive by nature
  • You’re open to and value feedback in order to improve
  • Don’t worry, we don’t expect you to know everything!

Additional Information

🏠You will have flexibility in how and where you work. We understand everyone needs a little something different - so we’ll do our best to make it happen, but we recommend coming to the office as much as possible in your first weeks!

🍽️Weekly office lunch and breakfast, coffee, tea and snacks!

💸Gross salary of 36,000 GBP/year (pro-rata)

🏢Fun and creative offices with social activities

🌟Be part of a global team with a global mindset.

💥Have a real impact. Solve real customer problems.

For more details on location-specific benefits, please check here.

If you are excited about this opportunity and you’re confident in your abilities but don’t hit every mark on our list, we still want to hear from you! Don’t hesitate to apply by submitting your updated resume!

For everyone, everywhere. We're people building money without borders  — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive.

We're proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.

Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
