About this role

Company Description

We’re Checkout.com. You might not know our name, but companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony do, because we’re behind many of the digital experiences you use every day.

We are where the world checks out, enabling over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers.

Whether you want to book a holiday, order food, renew a subscription, or check out online, there’s a good chance our tech powers the payments behind the scenes. Our platform helps the most ambitious businesses deliver effortless digital experiences, at scale.

If you want to do career-defining work, you’ve come to the right place. We move fast, think globally, and believe great teams are built by hiring exceptional people with conviction, curiosity, and the desire to make an impact.

With 20 offices across six continents and London as our HQ, we’re shaping the future of fintech – and we’re just getting started.

The opportunity

Our Commercial and Revenue Operations teams help power commercial growth by ensuring that customer-facing teams have the right knowledge, skills, processes, systems, data and capabilities to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive revenue.

As a Commercial & Revenue Operations Graduate, you’ll build a broad understanding of the commercial lifecycle while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement, Deal Management, Commercial Insights and Business Partnering.

You may complete rotations across commercial teams before moving into a longer-term placement aligned with your strengths, development interests and business needs. The proposed early careers model includes Commercial Operations, BDR, Account Management and Solutions Engineering pathways.

You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, receive structured training and mentoring, and join a global Early Careers community with networking, professional development and leadership opportunities.

How you’ll make an impact

During the programme, you may

  • Analyse commercial processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, risks and opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Support the design and implementation of scalable processes, playbooks and operating procedures.
  • Use data to identify trends, measure performance and provide clear recommendations to commercial stakeholders.
  • Help maintain accurate CRM and pipeline data, supporting reporting, forecasting and decision-making.
  • Support deal, pricing and approval processes, ensuring information is complete, accurate and well controlled.
  • Create enablement materials, training resources and communications that help commercial teams adopt new tools and ways of working.
  • Explore how AI and automation can improve commercial productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with teams including Sales, Account Management, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Managers, Product, Engineering, Finance and Data.
  • Contribute to projects that improve the merchant experience and support sustainable revenue growth.

What we’re looking for

You’re a curious, commercially minded problem-solver who enjoys connecting people, processes and data. You’re graduating in summer 2027 or graduated within the past 24 months, and you’re excited to learn about digital payments, ask questions and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in a quantitative, business, economics, technology or similarly relevant subject.
  • An interest in commercial strategy, revenue operations, sales, fintech or business transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations. Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet ability. SQL is a plus.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • An appetite to learn about payments, technology and the commercial lifecycle.
  • Curiosity about AI, automation, data and new ways of working.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility for delivering outcomes.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Payments or financial services knowledge is helpful but not required.
  • A keenness to work at pace, managing competing properties effectively and maintaining quality while delivering against tight timelines

What success looks like

By the end of the programme, you will

  • Understand how Checkout.com’s commercial teams operate and work together.
  • Be able to analyse a business process, identify improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
  • Demonstrate confidence working with commercial data, systems and reporting.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • Deliver projects that create measurable value for commercial teams or customers.
  • Be ready to progress into a permanent role within Revenue Operations, Revenue Enablement, Deal Management, Commercial Insights, Business Development, Account Management or another suitable commercial pathway.

Early Careers experience

You’ll receive

  • Dedicated onboarding and payments-focused training.
  • Professional skills workshops and leadership sessions.
  • Mentoring from experienced colleagues.
  • Networking and community events.
  • Opportunities to work on meaningful, business-critical projects.
  • Regular feedback and transparent performance conversations.
  • Potential progression into a permanent role, subject to performance, readiness, headcount availability and business requirements.

About the team & culture

We’re looking for people who put the customer first, move with pace, continuously improve, take ownership and maintain high standards of accuracy. Our early careers strategy is designed to develop future payments and commercial experts who can contribute with technical curiosity, commercial awareness and a merchant-focused mindset.

Eligibility

  • Graduated within the last 12 months or due to graduate by the programme start date, depending on the selected pathway.
  • Available to work full-time for the duration of the programme.
  • Able to work from the stated programme location and meet applicable right-to-work requirements.
