Chef de mission Comptable - Manager

QontoParis
Full-timeNot specifiedAug 26, 2026

Our mission and customers: We are creating the freedom for SMEs to succeed by delivering Europe's leading finance workspace with banking at its core, augmented by financial tools. We are proud to be rated 4.8 on Trustpilot, based on 55,000+ reviews. Our culture puts customer satisfaction at the core of what we do, as proven by our Net Promoter Score of 75 (more about our culture here). Our journey: Founded in 2017 by Alexandre and Steve, Qonto has grown to 1,600+ Qontoers serving over 600,000+ customers across 8 European countries. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started. Our beliefs: We hire for skills and potential. With 80+ nationalities, 45% women, of which 56% of women in our leadership team, diversity isn't a program; It's who we are. We've built a discrimination-free hiring process because the best teams are built on merit. AI at Qonto: AI is deeply embedded in how we work (here) - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ➡️ Mission: Join us as Analytics Engineer x Business Analytics and become the person our Business Analytics teams can build on without a second thought. You will own end-to-end the data models feeding Product, Growth, and Ops Finance analytics — designing scalable dbt models, pushing back on requests that would trade reliability for speed, and helping the team migrate to Omni and a real semantic layer. You will work closely with Jules Jeanroy, our Analytics Engineering Manager, and partner daily with Business Analysts across Product, Growth, and Ops Finance. The team is at a pivotal moment — investing in scalability, cutting technical debt, and building the standards that will define how Analytics Engineering works at Qonto for years to come. ➡️ As an Analytics Engineer at Qonto, you will: - Build data models Business Analytics teams trust — design and ship dbt models and tests that hold up under real, everyday use across Product, Growth, and Ops Finance - Partner with Business Analysts, not just execute for them — understand what they actually need, and push back when a request would trade long-term reliability for a quick fix - Reduce technical debt at scale — help migrate parts of the data stack to a more scalable setup, including our ongoing move to Omni - Own your projects end-to-end — take work from discovery through delivery, and follow up on its real impact instead of just closing a ticket - Scale your own workflow with AI — use AI tools to speed up documentation, testing, and modeling work, while keeping the judgment calls in your hands ➡️ What you can expect: - Join at a pivotal moment — the team is scaling and migrating to Omni; you're helping shape what comes next, not just maintaining what already exists - Room to move — grow horizontally across Business Analytics, Compliance, and Foundation scopes, or work toward mentoring and standards ownership within the BA team as a senior profile - Business partnering is core, not incidental — you'll work daily with Product, Growth, and Ops Finance stakeholders; challenging a request without damaging the relationship matters as much as your technical chops - AI is the multiplier — we use AI daily at Qonto (read our vision); we expect you to use it too, not just as a coding assistant but to speed up modeling, documentation, and testing ➡️ About your future manager: Your manager will be Jules Jeanroy, our Analytics Engineering Manager. Jules joined Qonto in March 2026 to lead the Analytics Engineering team that partners with Business Analysts. He focuses on strengthening the way Analytics Engineers and Business Analysts work together, building reliable, high-quality data foundations, and scaling data practices as Qonto grows. Before Qonto, he worked as Lead Analytics Engineer at Spendesk and as a BI Engineer at Brevo, back in the pre-dbt world. His leadership style is direct and collaborative. You can hear him talk about Analytics Engineering in French in this podcast. ➡️ About You - Analytics Engineering fundamentals — you're strong in dbt and SQL, especially dimensional modeling; you've shipped production-grade models other teams build dashboards on top of - Comfortable pushing back — you know how to challenge a stakeholder request that would hurt data quality, without shutting down the relationship - Built for scale, not just speed — you design models that hold up months later, and know when "good enough now" beats "perfect later" - AI-native work style — you use AI tools beyond just chatting, to speed up modeling, documentation, or test generation - Appetite for ownership — you're ready to take projects end-to-end, and, if senior, to help raise the team's standards too

We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started. Our beliefs: We hire for skills and potential. AI at Qonto: AI is deeply embedded in how we work (here) - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as Principal Backend Engineer in the Foundations domain and help scale the critical systems that power Qonto's 600,000+ customers — before they become bottlenecks. You'll drive company-wide backend initiatives spanning transactions, search, monetization, permissions, and integrations. ➡️ What you'll do - Anticipate and solve scale challenges before they hit: You'll map technical risks across Foundations' core systems — ~600k daily transactions approaching 1B total, search indexing, billing — and drive the architectural work that keeps Qonto's growth ahead of its infrastructure. - Lead broad, high-stakes technical initiatives: You'll own end-to-end programs spanning multiple teams, touching Legal, Risk, Compliance, and leadership, with real business consequences. - Shape the platform's future: You'll identify where Foundations needs to invest next — from granular permissions to AI-native integrations — and translate those bets into technical roadmaps. - Multiply the engineering org around you: You'll raise the bar for groups of engineers through mentoring, coaching programs, and technical enablement — not just one-on-ones. - Bridge business goals and backend decisions: You'll connect company and customer needs to concrete technical plans and communicate them clearly to engineers and executives alike. ➡️ What we're looking for - Large-scale backend architecture: You've designed and scaled high-volume systems — transactions, search/indexing, billing, or similar — under real growth pressure. - Company-wide technical leadership: You've driven complex, multi-team initiatives that touched Legal, Risk, Compliance, and leadership, and you can tie every technical decision to a business outcome. - Autonomous by default: You thrive in ambiguous environments, map ecosystems yourself, surface risks early, and propose initiatives without waiting for direction. - Multiplier, not just contributor: You've raised the bar for groups of engineers through mentoring programs, documentation, or structured technical enablement. - AI in your workflow: You use AI tools to accelerate how you architect, prototype, and communicate — and you're excited about what AI-native integrations could unlock for a platform like ours. ➡️ What we can offer you - Scale Qonto's next chapter: Usage and data volumes are growing fast — you'll architect solutions before systems become bottlenecks, not after. - The largest engineering domain at Qonto: Foundations spans ~110 backend engineers across internal tooling, monetization, integrations, transactions, permissions, and automation — it's genuinely Principal-scale scope. - Complex, urgent, business-critical challenges: From search indexing trade-offs at 1B+ interactions to AI-native integrations, the technical problems here directly shape the product millions of customers use daily. - Real ownership over technical direction: You'll identify what matters, propose the roadmap, and drive execution — with the autonomy to shape the domain's future. Don't check every box? If you're excited by the scope and feel strongly about the mission, we'd love to hear from you anyway.

AI at Qonto: AI is deeply embedded in how we work (here) - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as a Customer KYC/KYB to own the KYB/KYC lifecycle for Qonto's German business customers, based in our Barcelona office. You will report to Rafael Hajzeri, Lead of the Customer Onboarding Lifecycle team for Germany. You won't be handling account usage questions — your focus is the structured, compliance-driven work that happens after a customer is validated: periodic reviews, data remediation, and documentation. ➡️ What you'll do - Own lifecycle reviews: Conduct periodic KYB/KYC re-reviews for German business customers, managing your caseload through Qonto's internal tools. - Handle customer support: Reach out to customers via email, chat, and phone to collect updated documentation or resolve data gaps — direct client communication is a regular part of the role. - Identify process gaps: Spot recurring blockers, inconsistencies in documentation flows, or tool limitations and flag them to the team — your observations feed directly into how the team improves its processes and knowledge base. - Maintain knowledge resources: Contribute to and update internal documentation via Notion AI, ensuring the team's knowledge base reflects current procedures and regulatory requirements. - Operate with precision on compliance cases: Work on cases with legal and regulatory implications — an overlooked data point or an unclear client communication can directly affect a customer's account status. ➡️ What we're looking for - 1–2 years in a customer-facing role: You've worked in customer support, onboarding, or success — ideally in a structured environment with KPIs. You don't need to come from KYC/KYB specifically, but you need to be comfortable with process-driven work and accountability. - Native-level German: You'll communicate directly with German business owners and entrepreneurs. The bar is high — your written German needs to be precise, professional, and clear, because errors in compliance communications have consequences. - Attention to detail in complex cases: You read carefully before acting. You notice when something doesn't add up and you ask rather than assume. This matters most when cases have regulatory implications. - Composure under pressure: Lifecycle reviews can stack up. You stay methodical and solution-focused when the queue is long and cases are ambiguous. - Improvement mindset: You don't just process tickets — you notice patterns, flag blockers, and contribute to making the team's tools and processes sharper. ➡️ What we can offer you - Substance from day one: You'll work on KYB/KYC lifecycle cases — compliance reviews, remediation campaigns, risk-class-based re-validations — with real regulatory weight. The learning curve is steep and intentional. - A team being built deliberately: The team is structured around distinct ownership areas with a defined mission per person, not a generic shared task list. - Tools that match the work: You'll use Aircall for client calls and Notion AI for knowledge management. ➡️ Your future manager Your manager will be Rafael Hajzeri, Lead of the Customer Onboarding Lifecycle team for Germany, based in Barcelona. - His path? Originally from Germany, Rafael started his career in hospitality before transitioning into customer support. He has been with Qonto for almost four years, growing with the company into his current role as KYB/KYC Operations Lead – Lifecycle Germany. - What does he bring to the team? Rafael built the KYB/KYC Lifecycle team around defined ownership areas and structured processes — each team member owns a specific mission rather than a shared queue. He runs interviews conversationally, prioritises character and thinking alongside technical fit, and is deliberate about who joins the team.

You'll own the situations that matter most for our reputation: social media, sensitive client escalations, frontline incident support, and online ratings — all under the guidance of Louis, our Head of Customer Care France. ➡️ What you'll do - Own Social Care end-to-end: Lead the team to deliver fast, high-quality support across X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube — reactive when it's urgent, proactive before it escalates; - Handle sensitive escalations: Take over direct client escalations from non-standard channels, diagnose fast, coordinate the right stakeholders, and drive resolution; - Be the real-time lifeline for frontline teams: Run Slack-based internal support during urgent situations and own incident communication for the entire Customer Care organization; - Close the loop on reviews: Monitor Trustpilot, Google Reviews, and app store ratings, recover dissatisfied customers, and ensure the signal turns into fixes; - Build the operating model from scratch: Define playbooks, escalation paths, KPIs, and coverage schedules for the team. ➡️ What we're looking for - People manager in customer ops: You've led teams in customer support or operations for 5+ years and know how to coach people who work under pressure; - Social Care background: You have hands-on experience in social media support, listening, and moderation — the support kind, not content planning; - Sharp judgement under pressure: You make fast, sound calls in ambiguous situations and can coach a team to do the same; - AI-ready: You use AI tools to sharpen how your team works — from drafting responses to spotting patterns — and you bring others along; - Fluent in French and English: You write with precision and tone in French and English; Spanish or Italian is a plus. ➡️ What we can offer you - Strategic Impact: This team is brand new — you'll define the operating model, the standards, and the culture from day one; - High-stakes, high-visibility: Your team handles the situations that matter most to Qonto's reputation, with a direct line to leadership when it counts; - Cross-functional reach: You'll work with Brand, product teams, and external BPO partners — not siloed in a support queue; - Room to grow: As the team proves its model, scope, size, and influence follow. ➡️ Your future manager Your manager will be Louis, our Head of Customer Care France at Qonto. Louis came from nearly 6 years at BCG as a consultant and project leader before joining Qonto as Strategic Projects Manager — and stepped into leading Customer Care France. He values structured thinking applied to real operational problems: expect clear frameworks, high standards, and a manager close enough to the work to roll up their sleeves.

Senior Product Manager [Accounting expertise] - German speaking 🇩🇪

QontoParis
Full-timeNot specifiedJun 17, 2026
Join us as a Product Manager to build the accounting products that will make Qonto the default finance workspace for SMEs across Germany and beyond. You'll own our accounting expansion in the German market end-to-end — shaping the product strategy, deepening our local offering, and defining what we build next — in one of the most fragmented and locally complex domains in fintech: German accounting, bookkeeping, and the DATEV ecosystem. You will report to Paul Mourot, Head of Product for Accounting. ➡️ What you'll do - Own your product roadmap end-to-end: Define what we build, why, and in what order — working with engineers, designers, and domain experts to ship features that make a real difference for SMEs and their accountants in Germany. - Go deep on German accounting workflows and develop a sharp understanding of how accounting actually works in Germany. - Define and execute the German accounting strategy by understanding customer needs, evaluating what to build vs. partner on, and shaping an offer that's genuinely useful to German SMEs, not just a localized version of what works elsewhere. - Ship faster with AI: Use AI tools (Dust, Notion AI, Claude) and leverage AI as a product lever, identifying where automation and intelligence can transform accounting from a chore into a competitive advantage. - Challenge the status quo: Question assumptions, prototype fast, and push for the best possible product. - Work with maximum squad autonomy: Your squad owns its roadmap, picks its approaches, and ships independently. No layers of approval, no waiting on committees. ➡️ What we're looking for - Deep German accounting domain expertise as you've worked at or closely with a German accounting-tech company. - 5+ years as a Product Manager: Concrete examples of products you took from 0 to 1 or significantly scaled. You think in outcomes, not features, and you're comfortable making hard trade-offs. - AI-native workflow: You use AI to supercharge how you work — from research and analysis to spec writing and user testing. You see AI as a product lever, not just a productivity hack. - German fluency, strong English: You're able to navigate the German market natively — accounting is intensely local, and firsthand understanding of the landscape matters. Strong English is required to work cross-functionally across Qonto's European teams. ➡️ What we can offer you - A market being completely transformed: You'll be building Qonto's accounting offer in this market from the ground up and shaping the strategy. - Squad autonomy as the default: You own your decisions and ship without red tape. No committees, no approval chains. - Unlimited access to the best AI tools: Claude, Dust, Notion AI, Cursor, Copilot — every tool you need, no permission required. ➡️ Your future manager Your manager will be Paul Mourot, Head of Product for Accounting. - His path? Paul was CPO and co-founder at Semana (3+ years), Head of Product at BCG Digital Ventures, and CPO at Tiime — an accounting-tech platform — for nearly 4 years. Before that, he led product at AppTurbo, managing a team of designers, data analysts, and POs. He joined Qonto in 2025 to build the accounting product line. He knows the accounting domain from the inside, he's built products for it before. - What does he bring to the team? Real ownership for his PMs. You define the vision for your scope and you're accountable for the results. His approach: hire great people, give them context and autonomy, and create an environment where the best ideas win.

Full-Stack Engineer - People Products (Freelance)

QontoParis
FreelanceNot specifiedApr 24, 2026
Our mission: Creating the freedom for SMEs to succeed in business and beyond, by delivering Europe's leading finance workspace. Our journey: Founded by Alexandre and Steve in July 2017, Qonto has rapidly gained trust, serving over 600,000 customers with a team of 1,600+ Qontoers across Europe. Our beliefs: We evaluate applicants based on skills and potential — no boxes to tick. Our team is 55% international, 44% women, and 20% parents. Discover the steps we took to create a discrimination-free hiring process. ⭐ Mission Join us as a Freelance Full-Stack Engineer to build one of Qonto's first internal applications: a modern, high-quality People platform that transforms the daily experience of 1,700+ Qontoers - from compensation cycles and performance reviews to everyday HR workflows. You'll work hand-in-hand with Mélodie, our Head of People Systems, on a high-ownership mission: co-define the product vision, design the architecture, and ship to production. This is not a staff-augmentation engagement - it's a mandate for someone who builds like an owner. 👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Freelance Full-Stack Engineer, you will • Ship the People platform MVP by December 2026: migrate key Workday modules into a custom internal app (React for the front, Go for the back) that handles comp cycles, performance reviews, and daily HR workflows for 1,700+ Qontoers - on time and with zero compromise on quality. • Co-define the product vision and roadmap with Mélodie: run user discovery with People teams, challenge specs, and help decide what gets built first - not just how to build it. • Design for security and compliance from day one: architect systems that handle sensitive People data (GDPR, access controls, data residency) with the rigor the context demands. • Ship faster with AI: leverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot…) in your daily workflow and build AI-enabled features where they create real leverage for the People team. • Enable long-term adoption: document your work, run training sessions, and set up governance so the People team can own and evolve the tools long after the mission ends. 🏅 What we're looking for • Strong full-stack engineering (backend primary): You've shipped production apps end-to-end, handling sensitive data. React and Go are familiar - but we're evaluating craft and delivery capacity, not your exact stack. • AI-native workflow: You use AI tools daily to ship faster - code generation, testing, architecture support. Not experimenting - actually delivering. • Architecture & security instincts: You design for GDPR, access control, and data residency from the start. Security is not an afterthought. • Product engineer mindset: You've shaped what to build, not just how. You run user discovery, challenge specs, and iterate on real feedback. • High autonomy + owner mindset: You've delivered complex, ambiguous projects with minimal guidance. You set your own priorities, communicate proactively, and unblock yourself. • Bonus: Experience with HRIS/People tools (Workday, ATS, Payroll systems) or internal tooling for large organizations. 🔧 What you'll get • A greenfield mandate with direct access to decision-makers - no layers of approval, no waiting on committees • A stack built on React and Go, and the Workday REST middleware - adaptability valued over stack matching • Unlimited access to AI tools: Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, Notion AI • A culture where autonomy is the default: you own the architecture, set the direction, and ship • A mission with direct impact on every Qontoer's daily life from day one 🤝 Your manager & main point of contact You'll work day-to-day with Sébastien, Lead Corporate Automation, your functional lead for this mission, as well as Justine, our first engineer on the mission - and collaborate closely with Mélodie, Head of People Systems, on the People side of the scope. Sébastien brings 15+ years of experience as a Staff Engineer / Tech Lead on SAP and corporate systems, with stints at Sopra Steria, nearly a decade at CANAL+ Group (where he led the S/4HANA conversion and cloud migration), and VINCI Energies. He joined Qonto in September 2025 to lead Corporate Automation. Expect a hands-on, lean-minded leader who values technical excellence, clear ownership, and pairing - someone who'll spar with you on solutions and roll up his sleeves to ship the right outcome. 💬 Hiring Process • A first interview (1 hour): with Samy (your Recruiter) • A skills test (done asynchronously and then debriefed with Sébastien) to demonstrate how you think and give you a taste of what working at Qonto could be like We aim to have the hiring process last 10 days max, from first interview to potential offer🤞 If you've read this far and thought "that sounds like me but I don't check every box" — apply anyway. We hire on potential and mindset, not checklists. ---------------------------------- 🔒 Your security matters to us Recruitment scams are on the rise. Keep in mind, we will never work with third-party platforms or agencies that request payment from candidates. If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Qonto, please report it right away (support@qonto.com) ----------------------------------

We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as a Site Reliability Engineer on our Storage team to keep the databases Qonto runs on resilient, safe, and always available. You'll operate and improve our banking-grade storage infrastructure — PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch — and help make it self-serve for backend teams, under the guidance of Damien, our Storage Engineering Manager. ➡️ What you'll do - Operate and safeguard critical storage infrastructure: You'll run PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch in production, keeping banking-grade data safe and available. - Own incident response and root-cause analysis: You'll be the last line of defense when a hard query or performance problem needs solving. - Build our banking-license compliance roadmap: You'll define and prioritize backup and disaster-recovery scenarios with our Risk & Compliance team. - Ship code for our internal platform APIs: You'll build self-service tooling that lets backend teams spin up storage resources in minutes, not days. - Help shape how AI agents access sensitive systems: You'll contribute to making our storage APIs safe and traceable for autonomous agents, not just humans. ➡️ What we're looking for - Solid PostgreSQL production experience: You've operated PostgreSQL in production and know how to investigate performance issues, reason about backups/restores, and make safe changes. Deep mastery is a strong plus, but we don't expect you to be a dedicated PostgreSQL expert from day one. - Comfortable across the storage stack: You have working knowledge of Redis, Kafka or Elasticsearch, and you pick up new systems fast. - Practical AI usage in your daily workflow: You already use AI to speed up debugging, coding, documentation or operational work — not as a buzzword, but as a real productivity habit. You're also curious about how AI agents can safely and traceably interact with sensitive production systems. - You write code: You're comfortable shipping features, not just scripts, for the internal platform tools your team builds. - Calm, rigorous incident response: You've handled production incidents on stateful systems and stay composed when the pressure is on. ➡️ What we can offer you - A team about to raise the bar on resilience: With Qonto's banking-license roadmap underway, you'll help define how a regulated fintech operates its data. - Real ownership from day one: You'll drive your own reliability and disaster-recovery roadmap, not just execute someone else's backlog. - A growing team: Storage is scaling toward 5-6 engineers, so there's real room to shape how the team works, not just join it. - A fully remote-first team: Your teammates are spread across Europe. ➡️ Your future manager You'll report to Damien Cupif, our Storage Engineering Manager — but don't expect micro-management. Damien started out as a data engineer and naturally pivoted into infrastructure after building the tooling his own data pipelines needed. He sets a clear direction, stays hands-on with his team, and is genuinely invested in how each new hire ramps up and grows. If this sounds like you — even if you don't check every box — we'd love to hear from you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Join us as a Customer Care Onboarding Officer (KYCB) to help Qonto scale its French market operations from Barcelona. You'll handle company account opening and onboarding cases in a fast-growing team, supporting one of Qonto's core banking pillars as the company moves toward full banking license status. ➡️ What you'll do - Validate and process KYC cases end-to-end: Handle production work across Full Company Creation and/or Capital Deposit Only flows — reviewing corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and business models to make compliant account-opening decisions — while keeping pace with a 40-45 resolutions/week target. - Support internal and external requests: Respond to requests from other teams and external partners needing help unblocking cases. - Spot and escalate patterns: Flag systemic issues when you notice similar problems recurring across multiple tickets, rather than just closing them one by one. - Support clients and manage social media claims: Handle cases requiring dedicated attention, including sensitive client relationships and public claims. - Contribute to a compliance-first team: Work within KYC/banking regulation frameworks and help build the rigor Qonto needs as it moves toward banking license status. ➡️ What we're looking for - You have between 1–2 years in KYC/KYB, customer care, compliance or customer operations. You've reviewed real documentation and know how to justify a decision clearly. - You're comfortable reviewing complex legal and company documents, spotting inconsistencies, and making structured decisions under ambiguity — detail and precision are second nature to you. - Strong communication in French and English: Fluent written and spoken French is essential; English is Qonto's internal language. - Proactive ownership mindset: You don't wait to be told what's broken. You flag bottlenecks, take initiative on pending cases, and escalate appropriately when something needs to move. - Prioritisation under pressure: You can manage a queue of complex cases, balance lead-time targets against quality, and keep track of pending validations without dropping anything. ➡️ What we can offer you - Meaningful, complex work from day one: This role isn't high-volume routine processing — every case is different. You'll build real KYC/KYB expertise applied to the french regulatory framework. - Autonomy to improve things: You'll have the chance to propose process improvements, and contribute to a faster, smoother account-opening experience. - Cross-functional exposure: You'll work closely with Anti-Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, and frontline operations teams — building a network across Qonto's compliance and risk ecosystem from an early stage. - A supportive, high-trust team: Management here favors autonomy over micromanagement, in a team known for strong cohesion. ➡️ Your future manager Your manager will be Tess Humain, Team Lead, KYC Acceptance Capital. Her path? Tess joined Qonto 2.5 years ago, as a Customer Onboarding Manager for France, then moved into her current role leading Onboarding Company Creation & Capital Deposit in 2025. Before Qonto, she was working at Teleperformance, progressing from Quality Analyst to ML Quality Lead. She likes to give her team autonomy, while staying present and available whenever her team needs her.
