About this role

Senior Product Delivery Manager - Onboarding - Milan

Build with us

Since 2004, we've had one clear goal: to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe. Today, more than 250,000 companies use Mollie to get paid, manage money and grow – with products designed to be simple, scalable, and dependable. With 950+ Mollies across 14+ locations, we care deeply about autonomy and craft. So we work in small teams, with real ownership, and we trust you to make the right decisions. We're building for the long term, so we provide the tools you need, processes you can rely on, and a balanced work environment to help you do work you're proud of. Sound like your kind of place? Let's build together.

Your impact

Every merchant that processes payments through Mollie passes through the CIV team first. As the PM for Customer Identification and Verification, you own the KYC layer of our onboarding journey, the critical path that determines whether a merchant gets activated or drops off before they ever process a payment. That means KYC conversion rates and onboarding cost are your metrics, and the line between your work and Mollie's revenue is direct.

The timing makes this role particularly significant. With the GC acquisition underway, we're building compliant, locally adapted KYC flows for four new English-speaking markets: the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. You'll shape how Mollie enters these markets from the ground up, with high visibility and real business impact from day one.

Beyond the expansion work, you'll manage an ecosystem of 10+ identity verification and compliance vendors, own commercial relationships end-to-end, and drive a structured experimentation strategy across desktop, mobile web, and app. For someone who performs well and wants a broader remit, there's an intentional growth path built in: the scope may expand to include sub-merchant onboarding over time.

What you'll ship

  • KYC conversion improvements across all markets, from discovery and drop-off analysis through to shipped UX iterations and measurable uplift
  • Compliant, locally adapted KYC flows for the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, mapped to each market's regulatory requirements
  • Vendor coverage assessments for each new market, with gaps identified and closed through structured selection or contract work
  • A structured A/B testing and experimentation programme that drives iterative, evidence-based improvements to the onboarding journey
  • Commercial outcomes across 10+ identity verification and compliance vendor relationships, including negotiations, renewals, and performance reviews
  • Onboarding workstream contributions to the GC integration, acting as the CIV team's representative in cross-functional forums

What you'll bring

  • Hands-on experience with KYC, KYB, identity verification, or regulated financial onboarding, or strong adjacent experience in areas like marketplace onboarding, fraud and risk, or compliance-adjacent product work
  • A track record of owning conversion funnels: you know how to diagnose drop-off, design experiments, and ship iterative improvements that move the needle
  • Experience managing external vendor or supplier relationships with real commercial accountability, including contract negotiations, renewals, and performance management
  • Comfort operating across multiple markets with varying regulatory requirements, without needing heavy guidance to navigate the complexity
  • PM II or Senior PM level: you operate independently, represent your domain in senior forums, and drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Commercial

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.

Unlock your full potential and join us to eliminate financial bureaucracy. If you're excited by the idea of building what's next, for yourself and for thousands of businesses across Europe, we'd love to hear from you. Apply with your CV (in English) using the form below.
